Original in Fel, copy in Tram? How the heck did anyone even find out that was possible! It would never occur to me to try to place a house in a dungeon.

beat me to it! Can't be reforged or imbued, can be runic crafted. This is mine:

What veteran reward I will get has no impact whatsoever on my decision to keep playing, and nor should it. I keep playing because I enjoy playing. When assessing the number of IDOCs one must also take into account 1. How many of them are in fact t…

I have found images in the files that lead me to believe that the usual Halloween content will be forthcoming.

can't help with success rates. I don't think anyone has ever managed to establish any. Can help with macro: target on the bait pot set 'stored' - store fishing pole, delay is 8.0. Need to edit it for whatever bait pot you're using though.

The developers have stated frequently that they will not be merging shards. So when someone airs the idea on forums I just ignore it. It's not going to happen.

I'm not going to get into the personalities dispute, but I think taking all craft skills to 120 would be a mistake. I already have 2 carpenters in order to be able to make everything, with the second skill required for some of them. How the heck wou…

But by looking at that Stats gump in the Classic Client, how would a player know what they had to use to reach the 260 CAP if they did not remember what was previously used on that character ? But you don't need to REMEMBER if you've used a …

I have an account that was originally my son's. I didn't pay him for it. He gave it to me.

I'm not in favour of this idea. Being of 'mature' years I have more time available to me than some players, I therefore quite often get 'extras' of drops that I can give to guild and alliance mates with less free time, or who have taken a break and …

While I do not deny cheating exists, and heartily wish it didn't, not all the assumptions made in this thread are accurate. I have a vendor selling SoTs - but I don't get them from trader quests, I get them from treasure maps, and while some cynics …

I wouldn't say I'm 100% sure, but I think the personal bless deeds came with The Second Age. My characters created then have them, but the account I added at Age of Shadows does not. When the item is unequipped and in your pack there is a context m…

Decent armor should NOT just be a luxury for the rich. Special drops like cameos and high end crafted pieces like max luck and feudal grips should. I agree with much of what you've said. I like imbuing for it's control over what you do, but…

Crafting and hunting is a symbiotic relationship, it's the way the game is designed, some of us enjoy both aspects of the play and so have both character types. That doesn't make our crafters 'mules'. Most of my characters have a mix of pieces in t…

Greater dragons and frost dragons are a pain for dispelling. My mystic weaver has 30 MR and 40 LMC obviously, but also when tackling these creatures she carries a mana surge shield and urali trance tonics. Be sure to get a level 6 focus for spellwe…

There is NO need to interfere with map spawn. This is the first chest I've dug tonight, guess what's in it? I frequently bemoan the fact that it is difficult to reduce the number of maps in my Davies Locker because so many chests have a map in, som…

As someone who actually does a considerable amount of treasure hunting, rather than theorizing about it, I have to say I have no difficulty obtaining Hoard maps - I simply dig lots of cache maps.

I can't say what the devs would say to your suggestion. But I know very well what I would say if I were in their place. Why should they take time out of their already busy schedule to code this when the most obvious answer is to suggest that the pla…

The simple answer is, because the Devs made that decision. Speculation would suggest that while vendor search is coded to see when an item is sold, and when an item is removed by the seller, it is not coded to notice when it just 'poofs' out of ex…

I am willing to admit, and not for the first time, that Eodon maps are disproportionately difficult and have only done one Eodon Hoard map, with friends, for a giggle. Not expecting anything useful out of it. That doesn't stop me enjoying maps on t…

I think in this, as in the other thread https://forum.uo.com/discussion/10950/25-years/p3 , Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or something like that. I dig treasure maps because I find them fun to do. I've had enough pieces that work for my cha…

It's the wear and tear on your clothes from all that waving your arms about casting spells. Honest.

Waaay back before AoS, when my only viable fighting char was my petrified swordswoman I used make my own potion. Nightsight potion requires 0 alchemy skill. I admit it was somewhat inconvenient when the potion ran out in the depths of the dungeon, …

@EpicLuteGaming I have been trying to persuade people to voice their concerns with constructive criticism and without personal attacks and insults since 2006. I have yet to succeed. I wish you all the luck in the world.

I didn't see it at first either, but I just switched between grid view and list view to make it show up.
