I have never trained animal lore. If you're training taming and vet, animal lore goes up so fast that it will hit legendary long before you finish the other two. At least it always has for me.

nope. As I advised, I contacted a local treasure hunter - or actually logged in my treasure hunter. They can draw maps as well as read them. Just go to Tokuno and draw.
