Gargoyle berserk

Hi, everybody.  I am a little confused - does this skill counts as damage bonus or damage modyfier? If so, does it included in a Damage Increase from items or not? So I plan to remove anatomy. Is it reasonable?
@Mariah , please update damage increase page https://uo.com/wiki/ultima-online-wiki/skills/melee-fighting/melee-damage-increase/ ;  and add information about this perk.

Also I am not sure if this skill is working. It definitely is not affecting my bard's Despair or Tribulation damage.  Usually if person is in pain - he\she will sing WAY louder.  :D @Kyronix I think this skill should affect all means of damage, including bard's some way. Mages and warriors are included, bards are out. Why?

With gargish Mystic - i cannot see any difference. So is this perk working at all??

It does work from what I’ve seen. My gargoyle is a mage and have noticed spells doing more damage once berserk is activated. It only works for spell damage (certain spells) and melee/ranged combat.
  • I hope this reactivates this topic, but I want someone to explain how the gargoyle berserk system works with the other damage increase. I've read a ton on how damage is calculated and a five-on-friday just recently covered damage increase a little more, but I don't recall if berserk was mentioned and how it works with the damage cap.

I would hope that berserk's weapon damage is not restricted by any cap other than it's own 60%. If that is part of the 100% jewelry and armor cap then that essentially makes berserk worthless if someone's character is already capped out.

Spell damage is nice because in PVM there is no cap so berserk should always have a benefit.

it looks like berserk works with equipment and jewelry. I noticed today that my damage increase number on the stat bar was changing when my character went berserk. My best guess is that probably berserk in conjunction with like battle lust could almost negate the need for any jewelry/equipment to need damage increase or really need many pieces with it. I am just used to putting together suits with 100% DI that I didn't appreciate going a bit of a different route and exploring other aspects.

I think divine fury is the same way where your knight does not necessarily need to be maxed at DI with equipment.
