He wants 10 from the tali and 10 from the form.  It does not matter what the mechanics are. He wants what he wants.

I am having a problem with the Talisman of the Fey...

As you can see from the picture below, my Ninjitsu is well over 40 (it is 70) yet, equipping the Talisman of the Fey not only does not automatically turn me into a Ferret but, it does not also provide the +10.0 Stealing that I need...

Yes, if I cast the Ninjitsu spell Animal Form and turn into a Ferret this does make me turn into a Ferret and adds the +10 stealing skill points but then, why would I need the Talisman of the Fey if I need to cast the spell Animal Form anyways ?

Am I doing something wrong that the Talisman of the Fey does not automatically turn me into a Ferret and adds the +10 stealing ?

    To repeat my earlier information:

Sorry for the late reply, I was stealthing around the dungeon finding boxes

Casting animal form with ninjitsu gives you
    • Rabbit or Rat
    • Cat or Dog
    • Giant Serpent
    • Bullfrog
    • Ostard or Llama
    • Wolf or Bake-Kitsune
    • Unicorn
    • Ki-Rin
Equipping a talisman of the Fey (Ferret Form) adds 'Ferret' to the choices. Each of those forms has some kind of bonus, the bonus from ferret form being a stealing boost. Clear now?

If you don't equip the talisman, ferret is not one of the choices when you cast the spell!

Well, I had no idea of that !!

I thouht that equipping the Ferret Talisman of the Fey was "in alternative" to casting the Animal Form spell !!

That is, that merely equipping the Talisman would have turned the character into a Ferret skipping the necessity to cast the Animal Form Ninjitsu spell, altougether !!

Nowhere I read that equipping the Ferret Talisman of the Fey actually "added" the Ferret form option to the list of the available Animal Forms which, without wearing the Talisman, would not be present...

Yes, I had not checked that spell to see whether the Ferret Form was within the options or not while not wearing the Ferret Talisman of the Fey...

There is no costume talisman...  the others are the same. You have to cast.

Why y'all ignoring my boy Urge?  *smirk*
So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

Leave attended paying accounts alone, these people go thru a lot of trouble to automate the game.

It’s comical to me you are so frightened of somehow bod scripters get some sort of advantage.
