Yes. You have to kill mechanical creatures with the pet in guard mode. Always been that way. The pet is following that command.

Do one of two things. 1. Make new macros using the new character names. 2. Copy the files from the old name to the new name folder. Then exit and rejoin any guild they were in. Takes just a few minutes.
