Is 4 chests stacked up the limit ?

I have been trying to stack up a fifth chest over 4 that I already had stacked up on one another but without any luck.

Is 4 stacked up chests the max limit possible ?

Yup.if you want to open them. It's the top height not the number.

You can go to the 2nd floor of your house and then raise the 4th one higher, but not sure if it will open from downstairs..but you can stack more than 4.
You and Several Others like this.

Please make the Grizzled Mare a 5 slot mount, it's incredibly rare and deserves it. Some of us have been waiting a long time for this simple addition.

    you can stack 4 up
then raise the bottom one up halfway
drop another chest on the bottom tile
and it will land on top of the stack
    then lower the bottom one

i then lower the top one, so that they are stacked the same
and you can access all 5 of them

Thank you for the tip, not sure I understand whether then, 2 of the 5 chests will share the same position or whether I will be able to actually "see" 5 stacked up chests and interact with all 5 chests from the same floor....
  • If you don't hooked on the Look, use crates. You can Stack 6 crates on each other.

    I did this just now...
raise the bottom one 2 clicks
and then drop the chest that you want on top
in the open space at the bottom
    it lands on top

    you can then secure it
and turn it, if its turned like mine
    then lower the bottom chest

all 5 chests are accesible on this floor
and they don't stick up through the floor

I was told how to do this in 2008, so its been around for awhile now

The only way I can get more then 4 is to raise the bottom like Cinderella did, but my 5th always goes under the stack of four.

I don't like how squished mine are when I do more than 4 like that.

Skett has better stacking skills than you and I.  I can not get 5 to naturally stack either.

I will accept my shame of bad stacking skill.  :(
