@Name does not give any sort of alert notification.

Is this as intended, or am I missing a setting somewhere?

    how do you have your notification preferences set up? (click on the silver shield beside your name)

    By pop-up for all the options available there, including notify me when some one mentions me. (I get enough email all day from everywhere lol.)

    you should get a red 1 by the scroll right next to your name. Here's a tester @Tanager to see

    oh and the pop up, for me, comes up bottom left of screen.

    It might pop up if at bottom left if I was online at the time, I do not know. But there is no notification by the scroll near my name for me to see when I check the forum. :(
