I have heard people mention Steam on the internet. What is it ? I did a little research and found it iss a way to share with other players. Is it a game world or an assistant program? Anyone?

Steam is more or less the same as the Origin client where you can buy games, have a friends list etc.

It's a third party UO program that happens to share the same name as the popular gaming platform.
It and many others like it used to be something people would be banned for using.
UO should return to those days of banning people who play using 'illegal programs'.
Remove or change casting focus & poison immunity it reduces the need for "Player Skill" it's garbage.
Bring timing back and eliminate chance in pvp!

So it is not a supported program in UO. Thank you for the information.
