  So far only one part of town I work  lost electricity.  Poor lady she is all concerned.  Nothing you can do until the power comes back and the lines thaw.  Can break an impeller when power comes back if its ice inside.  In town is not the bad part, those North of town are where the cold blows onto the tops of the hills where they live.

  MOOO MOOO  Begins the day at 116.5 Chiv.   I told u how slow it is above 115.  I really doubt if an old guy has 1 pet at 120 Chiv much less many.
  
  I can tell he stayed all night.  Seems they get that pet freeze thing a lot.  He refuses to move, but Gregorio comes to him.  Would have to feed him to break it.

  Just for the record, this is Atlantic... the rest of the shards where most of the players play, does not have the Matriarch popping up every 15 minutes or so...

  
  

  The "permanent" content to turn in eggs and get a Mature egg will need to also work on lower population Shards where the Matriarch, if lucky, spawns 2 or 3 times a day if even (and one needs to be logged online at those times... obviously...).

  
  

  If on lower population Shards it will be necessary to gather some 4,000 Flawless eggs and thus do 8,000-9,000 Nest Maps to get them (my finding is I got 1 Flawless egg over 30 normal eggs gathered), on lower population Shards it will take an ridicolous high playing time (and repetitive farming) to get the necessary eggs.

  
  

  It definitely needs to be rethought, to my opinion, as permanent content, and require way less eggs.

  You come across incredibly negative and entitled about this. Most of us aren’t treating the game like a job where we expect a paycheck we’re here to relax, have fun, and enjoy the content at our own pace. If you look around this thread, everyone else participated, got some rewards, and came here to share their experiences. You’re the only one turning it into “It takes too long, I want everything, and I want it right now.”

  I am not saying that I want it right now, "some" time to get an in game item I see as reasonable, I just happen to not see that time that the numbers on Test Server show, as being a reasonable time, to my personal opinion and liking.

  Throughout this Event, I have read quite a few posts from fellow UO players lamenting how they were upset about not getting a Mature egg... and they tried and tried be it helping kill the Matriarch, or doing Nest Maps, or doing Hidden Chests... apparently, I am not the only one lamenting that perhaps it takes too much time to get a Mature egg...

  
  

  Sure, at least turning eggs in will guarantee a Mature egg (contrary to during the Event when the RNG was the only one to decide it...) but at the cost of how much time, I am asking, if a players needs, even for the lowest cost (hue 0) Mature egg, 10,000 points which means, at 20 points per Flawless egg, some 500 Flawless eggs. If one gets 1 Flawless egg every 30 eggs (this is at least what happened to me, on average), to get 500 Flawless eggs means having to gather 15,000 regular eggs or so, moreless.

  
  

  That is still quite a lot of Nest Maps to have to do. Many, many hours of repetitive gameplay doing Nest Maps.

  You keep repeating the same point as if saying it enough times will turn your personal preference into a universal truth. You do not like the time investment and that is fine, but that does not mean the system is wrong for everyone else. Plenty of players accept the grind, plenty ignore it, and plenty decide the reward is not worth the effort. That is how optional content works.

  
  

  What you are describing is not a design failure. It is a difference in tolerance. You are free to dislike repetitive gameplay and you are free to skip it, but you are not entitled to have every item in the game adjusted to match your preferred pace. That is the way I see it.

  My hands start shaking if I dig ore or chop trees for 15 min.  I get bored after 1 hidden chest.

  Do what you like.   If you like the reward, you have to make urself do it or buy it.
