Holiday Message Exchange
Greetings Everyone,
I am going to try something that hasn't even been well thought out yet (my brain refuses to cooperate these days) and may prove to be a fantastic flop. But I'll start it anyway.
With the new stocking gained from the holiday token and labeled with your own character's name I decided to try this. I will admit I am stealing the idea from a past event on Chesapeake, just twisting it to my will.
It's a Holiday Message Exchange! It can be any holiday you wish, all are welcomed and encouraged. I'm a Christmas spirit guy so that's what you'll get from me but I'd like to hear from as many of you as I can.
If you wish to participate, please leave a stocking (with your name -from the token-) and a book inside it (optionally also with your name) with a message you wish to give everyone, in my mailbox. Only one per real person please.
The above paragraph is a bit of a mess so let me clarify as a list of what I'm asking.
My Request:
-get your named stocking from holiday token
-place a book inside the stocking with your holiday message
-drop it off in my mailbox on Chesapeake, location will be listed below.
My Job:
-hang your stocking on the wall
-place a copy of your book (message) into every stocking on the wall
The message can be a simple well wish (i.e. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays) or even a story you wish to share. If you primarily play another shard, you can include that shard as well. Your choice, as long as it isn't negative. The event I am stealing this idea from asked you to write something you were thankful for, and that's good too. Whatever you wish.
I will hang all the stockings on the wall. I will copy your book and drop one into each stocking received. I'll have them locked down but available to view the contents so you can read your messages. I will periodically monitor and filter out anything unsavory.

Leave Luna by the south gate. Follow the road and cross the really long bridge. Immediately after the bridge there will be a house plot “The Christmas Deck” on the west side of the road. You have arrived at your destination! Don't mind the terrible deco, it's just not my thing. My talent is creating death robes.
I will try to keep blank books in a gift box for your convenience. If the mood should strike you, bring a few blank books with you to throw in there and help me out.
I can't update the hanging of stockings every day but I'll try my best. I have recently gotten over a nasty drawn out illness, work twelve hour shifts with a fairly long commute, and I'm just really, really tired right now.
I'd like to get them all back to everyone who participated but I haven't figured that part out yet. So don't leave a stocking if you fear losing it. I may just post a time frame that I'll be available to hand them back. Keep in mind I may make mistakes (almost a certainty actually) but nothing will be meant as a personal slight. I'll keep hanging them until Christmas and leave them up until the new year.

There are players who have all slots full on each shard and get a token or gift every time UO gives us something. Takes hours to get them all. There are hundreds of things to kill hours on in UO.
There are players who get the gifts for the gift box colors, There are new colors and styles starting this round.
Give me until tomorrow though before I can place this and that's if I can dig up a steward.
By the way Ahua, I've messaged you on Stratics. I still have that gift for you and I'm up and about again.
