Some hues must be missing from the chart ?

Looks like many of the Reds can claim that.

Reminds me of my insurance salesman. Oh you bought a Mustang, it's not red is it, that's gonna cost more.

Still haven't gotten one....so at this point any color would be my favorite.

Starting to feel like the obelisk all over again.

Unfortunately, I've been playing this event for over a month and already have caught more than 500 regular eggs, but I still haven't gotten a single mature egg of any color. However, I've seen some players who have caught so many mature eggs that they're selling them.

    500 is not many eggs.

Excuse me, game forum administrator, how many regular eggs do you actually consider "too many"? Again, I'm just a casual player; I can't possibly be like you, constantly playing and working in the game and the forum with 24 hours

I would also like to hear what would be "too many" regular eggs... to me, 500 seems a real lot... especially considered that there is no container to hold them all (a container holding like 500 eggs but counting as 1 item) and players thus need to find storage space for whatever regular eggs they might want to store, somehow...

For starters... totally in agreement that it's past time to do something with the deco eggs... I re-subbed an account just to place a house for the deco eggs I was getting to hold over until we could turn in.... that house is now full and I'm forced to drop them on the ground because I can't do anything with them. I probably have 1k+ taking up room in an entire house with more locked down in my other homes. While I appreciate the Devs thinking (after the fact) about letting us turn them in; it should have been a fast follow and not something we need to wait for the next publish (who knows when that is... (likely next year?).

Second, I'm not a fan of the mature egg drop rate, but I don't think judging the drop rate on deco eggs is a fair assessment. But to give some idea of "is 500 eggs a lot and should be enough for a mature egg?"... I've talked to a couple people who have multiple mature eggs for sale (which don't seem to be selling btw) and they are doing 75-100 massive maps a day, plus matriarchs. They have said it's streaky and definitely "RNG as its finest"; sometimes they go a couple days without a mature egg. I think the average massive nest has 6 deco eggs so if we go on the low side of the range provided (75 nests) that would be 450 eggs from nests alone and if we sprinkle in another 50 from the matriarch that's 500 on the "low side" of what I'd consider a power gamer. Again, a reminder that they said they will sometimes go days with a drop. If you apply that, the number 500 doesn't really seem all too low and actually sounds like is starting to get into the range of a drop.

That all said, do I think that's too much RNG/grind for a mature egg with a random color; 100% yes but that seems to be what the current RNG/grind is. To put things into perspective for everyone, I've done well over 200 matriarchs (with multiple accounts) and have yet to see a single mature egg drop... meanwhile there are people that have a couple of eggs from the matriarch with the same or less rounds. It's all RNG; like it or not.
  • Again , If I say this is : Random Number Generator (abbreviation : RNG) , it is better to say this is : Artificial Player Residential Area Bias Generator (abbreviation : APRABG) ,  or it could be: "Discussion Forum Comment Reward and Punishment Generator," abbreviated as "DFCAPG"

or maybe is : it's only for  professional game cheat plug-in program studio's player assistance generator . Abbreviation
    : " GCSPAG"
  • Regardless of the generator, for our casual players who real pay real play players , it's only a 0% drop rate too.

@keven2002 Maybe take into account that there possibly wasn't a plan to do anything with the eggs until players who don't collect 'sets' asked for it. In which case it would take a while to come up with a suitable mechanic for it and implement it?
As to the eggs. I think most would hardly class me as a 'casual' player, but the RNG hates me too. I have stolen from boxes six effigies, in many hours of hunting boxes. The number of mature eggs I have found in boxes is ZERO. My RL luck is way below my UO luck.

I totally agree with the thought that the Deco egg turn in was something they thought of after the fact and I applaud their shift in that thought.

That said, I don't think they need to come up with a suitable mechanic when they already have one available to them (and will likely be what they use); which is the same exact thing every "turn-in" mechanic has... there is a vendor that gives you points for each egg and you can select rewards from that vendor.

I think the biggest questions for me, aside from what are the rewards, would be if this vendor is going to be permanent or not.

I think the deco egg vendor will be the way to get nest maps after the event, so surely if the nests are permanent then the vendor will be ?
