I am not stepping through that gate.
in New Legacy
First of all, let me praise the great labor of love that is New Legacy, I had been away for 15 years, and coming back to this, even if confusing at first, was spectacular and unexpected. Especially now that I have a bit more context.
What a great result with the engine provided, the feeling of quickly getting back into it, respect for roleplay integrity and whole ambiance, *chef's kiss*
Thank you thank you, thank you!
It did spark up so many memories, feelings and is the trigger for me revisiting all I loved about it. I am truly grateful.
And not sure if I stumble in my role-play here, but, I don't trust that gate, nor anything that has anything to do with it!
My legacy = my ancestor dies, and passes on his hard earned wisdom and knowledge.
Am I taking it the wrong way? Or do I have an angle here?

I completely understand what you are saying, but I like having those reminders around my main shard.
First, let me extend a warm welcome back! We’re truly delighted to see you return!
New Legacy was an unforgettable experience for many players (I’m personally excited for Season 2 as well), and it’s wonderful to hear such positive reflections. Thank you for taking the time to share yours!
I’ve passed your message along to the Development team. They work incredibly hard, and your experience means a great deal. Thank you again!
Mix of feelings for me, It did hook me back like it was designed to, but I've felt pretty lonely in that experience. Which is why I take this roleplaying stance of not using powerful magic (always has a price) to gate to another shard. When everyone does something without question, I ask myself twice.
Clearly many quests were not meant to do alone (as is to be expected when going back to UO's roots) but it seems like really knowledgeable players manage to do it alone (or maybe use multi-boxing), so nobody needed my help or assistance. In fact not a single player talked to me, I did the quests once on an EJ account, then resubbed and did it again, the second run was much more fun, much more solid experience. Some guilds also appeared to "own" certain rare/drops/areas, which I think were designed to be competitive. Correct me if I'm wrong because I am truly a noob in context.
I assume these kinks are being worked on, as there will always be people to misuse and meta their way through content.
Was nice to see moonglow like this, I think its beautiful.
Still learning about all this new stuff!
Avatars! don't hesitate to message me if I can be useful!
1) How do I transfer my characters to Production Servers
2) How do I transfer my Pets to Production Servers?
Thanks!
