Earrings with 100% LRC when activated for 5 minutes

I was thinking of an idea and what I come up with it a set of earrings, that when activated, give you 100% Lower Reagent Cost for 5 minutes and then go on 1 hour cooldown. This might be a good item for say a Sampire or short duration PvP. What do ya think ?

Not a huge fan of this idea for Prod since LRC items are a dime a dozen already and a sampire isn't really casting many reag based skills (typically) so it seems more like a niche type item.

There could be an argument made that there is arcane clothing (ie boots) that allow up to 24 "free" spells cast...you just need to recharge them after use (but no actual cooldown). The boots can also be insured.

If we are talking for PvP then I think reags need to be used because if you die then you could lose your reags and need to restock (along with pots etc) vs getting rezzed and being instantly back in the fight.

For me personally, I can't speak to PvP but my sampire carries around 10 of each VE reag in case I die (along with arcane boots as a back up) and my whammy carries 25 pig iron for curse weapon and I really never have a problem.

Why do players ask for things and changes hmmm, wonder. New items are good to have.

He means 99.9% of samps only cast one spell and that's vamp embrace after they die.

It's easy to just insure a couple items with lrc to cast that one spell.

Not knocking your idea. Just clarifying what Kev was getting at.

No problem with asking for new things...you asked for thoughts and I gave you mine.

The only problem with some people asking for things is that they make the request in a vacuum with only their playstyle in mind which might be inefficient or have many workarounds.

Just because I might play a roleplaying UO detective with forensic ID, that doesn't mean asking for a "sleuthing hat" with +10 forensic is a good idea....I can ask but most others will say that's not needed :)
