Draconic Awakening Event
Question Availability of Juvenile Umbrascale after event? Will the new rideable Juvenile Umbrascale dragon still be obtainable on production shards as a permanent addition to the game after the Draconic Awakening event ends? If so, how?

Answer Parallax: Here is an overview of what you can expect after the Draconic Awakening event ends:
  • Mature Umbrascale Dragon Eggs will still be obtainable in Dragon Nests and from The Umbrascale Matriarch,
  • The event-exclusive hues (Hue IDs 2783 & 2784) will no longer be obtainable,
  • All other hues of Mature Dragon Eggs will remain available,
  • There will be additional methods to acquire Dragon Nest maps,
  • Artifacts of the Umbrascale will no longer drop from Dragon Nests or The Matriarch,
  • Additional rewards will be added to Dragon Nests and The Matriarch
  • A reward vendor will be introduced to allow players to exchange decorative Dragon Eggs for rewards,
    •  These changes will go into effect with Publish 122.
Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

    What about a permanent location for a non aggressive Umbrascale matriarch that, when offered deco eggs you raise trust/reputation. When a level is reached access is granted to a vendor or quests to obtain Umbrascale related items including a mature egg. 
    It would give players something to work towards instead of relying just on luck and a sink for the eggs. win win

    Well, thanks for the news, that is refreshing for all those who were looking to get a Mature egg and were pressed by the time limited Event and the extreme difficulty to get a drop.

    Since Mature eggs will keep spawning after the current Event ends, there is no hurry to get a Mature egg now, while the Event is ongoin... if it comes well, if it doesn't, no worries, eventually one will show up after the Event doing the persistent Dragon Nests and the Matriarch hunt.

    Where is this from? I didn't see anything for the 5 of Fridays for this past week or that anywhere else on the forum. Was there any mention of when Pub 122 was coming?

    Also can anyone help me with a Hue ID "tool" or list where I can see what hue 2783 & 2784 are? Usually uo-cah has that stuff but they didn't add anything on the mature dragon eggs yet.

    it means I can start spending my event points on something else apart from massive maps and get some of the cool looking item, all ive got so far is the luck clock. Maps have been fun but no luck for me yet. I am hoping the egg trade in includes a mature egg but Im thinking that it wont.

    No mention of pub 122.  If you read it literally, these changes happen after the February end date.

    So good luck storing eggs.

    They need the egg vendor up now!

    One thing is unclear to me...

    If the Dragon Nests (and the Matriarch spawn) will be a persistent content (which is a good thing so that all players wanting a Mature egg will not need to get worried if they are not lucky throughout the current ongoing Event...), where will we get the Dragon Nests Maps from ?

    Currently, they are either found in hidden chests or need to be bought from the turn in guy using Artifacts of the Umbrascale drops.

    But these, will no longer be available, at least I understand, after the current ongoing Event ends.

    So, how will then players get the Dragon Nests Maps ?

    @popps Knowing the guy in charge and it's love for the automation event.
    You can expect to find those NEST map into the automation lover Booster pack.. I believe it's called the black market.
    So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

    Leave attended paying accounts alone, these people go thru a lot of trouble to automate the game.

    It’s comical to me you are so frightened of somehow bod scripters get some sort of advantage.

    I'm not asking for your opinion.. I was stating the most obvious solution (considering the actual dev team) cuz..

    1- Paralax still has no idea what he's gonna do or...
    2- he do know and don't want to tell it.. cuz they gonna lose A TONS of value and people that been farming them eggs for the past weekss with no success going to be piss.
    So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?
