I'm assuming someone with your experience will have all drivers up to date?
I remember some years ago a very serious graphic error I had turned out eventually to be caused by an out of date sound driver. That took a good bit of sorting out!
i have played this game on and off for over 25 years and never had issues of crashing on a scale like this. the game is becoming unplayable. Considering this game is over 28 years old, hundreds of subscribers paying for it surely they have the funds and programmers to resolve this. Another annoying thing that has recently started is stuttering when on a mount, stop start stop start, i have have been killed many times due to this. i have followed all the recommendations to resolve this but no progress has been made this is a programmers issue. this is not an isolated issues just for me, it seems to be affecting so many other players playing this game, and there seems to be no progress on this issue for a very long time.
What shard do you play? Where are you located? What times? What are you doing when you crash? How often/how long has it been happening?...etc etc etc.... these all help to figure out if it's a more broad issue or not.
If I just go off of your post then I don't have those issues and it sounds like it might be your ISP, not saying that it is but I haven't had crashing issues in weeks (since around NL event ended). The only times I was crashing towards the end of the event was after completing a trade with a player but I haven't had that happen on Prod and generally have pretty good connection to ATL and Origin.
I am Playing Atlantic Shard, i live in England (and had not crashing since a came back to the game ) - and i am just playing UO nothing else.
i have full fibre 1 Gigabyte broadband (Which is solid) i play varying times 8:00am - 2:00am GMT time. at times i can go without crashing for hours but then every five or so minutes.
Its a new computer 64gb of Corsair Vengeance DDR 5 6000MHz - EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GDDR 6 - ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-I motherboard - Intel i7 12700K processor - Corsair AIO Titan 240 RX LCD - 2TB Samsung 990 Pro M.2 hard drive - Corsair 750W RMe Series Modular 80 Plus Gold Ultra quiet PSU. Running Windows 11 Pro.
So its not the Broadband - Its not the computer and seeing that this thread has a lot of complaints about the same issue i therefore deduce its the program we are all using

I've not had any issues since about october 15th-ish, Everything has been pretty solid while playing the latest ToT Grind.

I think I remember seeing something posted about people with Windows 11 having some issues, but I thought they put in a hotfix for that about a week or 2 ago.
Maybe someone more familiar with Windows 11 can give info about a particular setting or something that might cause the issue?
