Greetings,
Regrettably a small portion of players have been impacted where the unintentional removal of Balron Bone Armor may have occurred on a select number of shards.
We deeply apologize for this inconvenience and will be taking the following steps to address this issue:
- Players who had Balron Bone Armor Equipped may page into CS to have the issue resolved. The cutoff for paging in to CS to address this issue is October 30th, 2025 at 11:59pm ET
- Players who had Balron Bone Armor stored in a house or on a vendor will find a container with the requisite number of items removed from that location beginning on October 17th, 2025 at 12:00pm ET
- Replaced Balron Bone Armor will be eligible for enhancement free of the need for using the Forged Metal Tool
- Replaced Balron Bone Armor will be account bound to the first character that equips the item

What shards were affected and do I need to log all my toons on and count how many I have?
Are they deleting all of the Balron Armor tomorrow? Why will my containers have less items?
If they are no longer there, I have no idea how many I had stored away.
What about the ones I used an outfitter on?
If they replace shard bound with account bound, that would be ok, one time.
I guess those are gone.

As Kyronix has stated, they have logs of all the items removed.
They are in the process of replacing the items, per the dates announced.
To replace the one you were wearing, you must use the help menu and contact a GM (as Mariah has stated).
@Community Manager - Is the issue resolved now? If I didn't log in a toon (I have a couple I didn't log into bc I didn't want the armor to poof) and I log in after the fix, will their armor be ok or was it deleted regardless of logging in?
Also Pawain had a good point about how do I know how many I had stored because I had several but I'm not totally sure where they are so I need to look through some containers... how do I figure out how many went poof that were stored?
If we DM you/Kyronix with our account names will you be able to tell us how many we lost and on what shards via those logs?
I don't believe that information is being passed along, but please know that they do have the logs of all those that were lost in that instance and they will be replaced.
Now we would have to collect things for templates we may have in the future on that account.
If anything it should be bound to any paid account on the master account.

I would have to get mage stuff and warrior stuff on each account. And for Balron armor I have to decide if I want it on an account with only 1 warrior that is just GM in skill.
It should be bound to all accounts on the master account.
As long as your one account does not put it on, you can sell it or transfer it. It just will be bound to the account that puts it on then.

All mine were on a toon or in a container or bank. So I was concerned for nothing, hopefully.
The enhanced ones were dyed, so that may have saved them.

I really do not like this at all.
Long story short, the data are there.. somewhere.. manually verify that, it could take months (considering their actual work charge)
Way simpler to fill in tickets via CS and if a red flag is trigger they can always manually verify for that special case.

Long story short, someone was playing on X server.. he got manually transfer by CS on another server/shard. It was a new player that had claim account bound cash shop stuff.. Since he install the game in french.. the international server wouldn't shows up (to play with his friend)
CS manually transfer that person.
BUT.. ~36 hours after that, the studio got aware of a bug that was exploited on the server that person was originally from and decided to rollback that server; ~48 hours.
Now that person that got transfer on a new shard also got a 48 hours rollback and everyon with whom he traded with during that ~36 hours on his new server, also got "flag" by the system and rollback 48 hours.
In some case, people had duped items (If I sold items in that 48h I got them back.. since money/bank not affected by that bug only the characters EXP and it's inventory/gears.. I got $ from the sale + items back)
In others, like me.. I had done a quest to earn Dofus Eggs (OP items u can only earn once) that got deleted..in those 48 hours I had done main quest story stuff. No more Dofus and cannot redo the quest.
Now the CS did the same kind of announce.. fill a ticket we gonna hook you up.. A lot of players did false claim. The studio puts an alt to this to manually scan;~2,2k items were restored, ~2months later. The studio develop a new tool to auto extract such data in the future and sanctioned some of the false claim accounts.
In our case, here; it's something OP but it was also raining.. (fairly easy to acquire)
The fact this is shard bound + account bound.. they've already accepted the fact they could give a few extra more, if no red flag. The impact seems pretty minimal to me.
They still have those data it is true.. but to manually extract them, it's another thing.
Originally they flag too wide when deleting those unintended NL items that got on prodo.. Now, they need to do a manual heads count and split them in two groups.. simple task but very time consuming.. so, yeah.
PS: I totally agree tho.. 2 weeks ONLY of CS for THEIR mistake.. I paid good money for mine. It's non sense to limit the CS in this case.. this is my main complain here. This is bad corporate culture.
Edit: Yes, the other person that got transfer by CS; was my lil bro.
Leave attended paying accounts alone, these people go thru a lot of trouble to automate the game.
