I started the event as my mage because my melee guy wasn't finished and now I'm kind of locked into playing my mage for the event until I get enough points to grab a reward (otherwise I wouldn't get to use them). It's similar for the legendary foes as well... when there are more pets to tank stuff I'd like to use my melee guys to save reags, but if I'm one of the few tanks I'd opt for mage to summon stuff instead; I think those points should be banked between 2 chars not 1.
