New Legacy Publish 3 Hotfixes

Greetings, The following hotfixes have been deployed to New Legacy Shards:

Bugfixes
  • Resolved issue with the Victor Blackthorn encounter not resetting properly after his defeat
  • Resolved issue that could cause players to be removed from encounter areas prematurely
  • Resolved issue with Dynamic Scaling not working on Void Commanders
  • Resolved issue with Frozen Pillars not pulsing a damage aura
  • Resolved issue where Meteor Strike and Frost Meteor abilities would not properly go on cooldown after firing, causing them to trigger repeatedly 

Adjustments
  • Fire Twirl attack will no longer persist after the mob that cast it dies
  • The Riders of Ruin encounter area will now block entry for 3 minutes to allow all players time to enter the encounter area
  • Increased the amount of mobs required to be killed to progress an invasion town to the Void Commander stage
  • Greatly increased the frequency in which Unique pets will attempt to spawn
  • The Riders of Ruin and Victor Blackthorn now have a knockback/stun combo that only affects pets
  • Several adjustments have been made to the damage and frequency of abilities used in the Riders of Ruin and Victor Blackthorn encounters
  • Increased the range that attacks can hit Victor Blackthorn in Phase 2 of his fight
  • Increased the time between town invasions from 5 minutes to 10 minutes 

Item Transfer Updates
  • Empty Spellbooks will no longer be marked as Transferable
  • Certain Armor and Shield pieces with stats will no longer be marked as Transferable
  • BOD books will no longer be marked as Transferable
  • Troubadour's Lucky Lute is now Transferable
  • Virtuoso's Bansuri is now Transferable
  • Toasted PBJ is now Transferable
  • BOD Title Rewards are now Transferable
  • Decorative BOD Rewards are now Transferable

    I want to provide some feedback in hopes that we can get some further adjustments to the fractured veil event.

    What I like:
    • I don't want to speak too soon but I do think the fixes for the CC crashes are working well. I still will crash a couple times a day but much better than 10 times in 30min. Thanks!
    • Very happy about the scaling of Void Commanders so that they don't die in 30 seconds; seems like more ppl are helping with the spawn now.
    • At first I was opposed to the wall on the Harry but I like it now because there were a few times I dropped into the area with the Harry being on the portal drop zone and it was instant death. Gives me time to loot the Commander and get into the next fight.
    • I do appreciate the extra time between invasions; although I'm torn on this because with the extra 5min there and 3min on the Harry wall; that's almost an extra 30min of WAITING for each round when I'd rather be playing. I feel like I'd rather do 8min between towns and only 2min on the Harry wall; that would shave off about 10min. 
    What I'd like to see adjusted:

    • For certain void commanders (ie the ones that do not do area damage) you can NOT getting looting rights as a mage because of the damage scaling regardless if you are there from the start. I've dropped EVs and used daemons while I've casted non stop and mana dumped ranging from FS/EQ to tons of ebolts/fireballs and I never get looting rights. I also can't find anything in the sea of dragons to heal. Can we get the mechanics adjusted so that doing SOME damage gets you looting rights?
    • The updated "knock back" mechanic is horrible for a mage dropping summons (EV / Blades) because I'll go to click an open spot and suddenly everything is pushed back and I get "Target cannot be seen" OR I hold off on clicking but then there is barely anywhere else to target given all the corpses etc around certain bosses. It's further exaggerated by the all the pet corpses (and ghosts); especially on Victor B...it becomes extremely hard to drop a summon. Can we push the pets back further and/or remove pet corpses (since they don't do anything)?
    • The ice pillars from the Frost Harry seem like their radius is very large AND sticks around even after they are gone. I'll destroy a frost rock and my next spell is almost always interrupted even when it's gone and no others are on the screen. Can you look at that?
    • We are coming to an end of the season.... can you and @Kyronix PLEASE be more giving with the quality of the "reward items" and/or loot? What I mean is that we only have about a month or so left so I think any "reward item" we get as a pack drop should be Invuln (for armor) and Vanq (for weaps); we can't take them with us so why not let the late coming ppl get up to snuff? 
    • Speaking of loot... is it possible to throw in some bags of supplies as loot on these bosses? This is only a month or so event so I'm trying to participate every chance I get... I don't have much time at all to go farm mummies for a few hours for 10 of 4 reags so I buy them but given that the bosses only drop 100gp that doesn't go very far. Again the season is coming to an end so why not let people focus on the limited event instead of resource gathering? Personally I'd rather get a reagent bag of 40 of each reag over a fire elemental scroll at this point.
    • I understand that certain things are meant to be a grind, but I don't love that one round of the event has more than doubled since it kicked off last week. When the event first started, an entire round was getting done is a little over an hour... lots of people and things went fast so I see the need to allow people to participate, but being able to play 3 hours straight for a single round is very hard for majority of people. 3 hours is how long it took us to do the round last night (started around 9pm and ended right before midnight). Just over an hour might have been too quick... but 3 is way too much. I feel like 90min-2 hours is the sweet spot.

    To expand on the above bullet about the time creep. Victor Blackthorn either needs to be "turned down" for difficulty or rewards should be "turned up". He should NOT scale like the Void Commanders do; he was fine the way he was and shouldn't take an hour to kill (unless there will be a guaranteed drop). There were a ton of people on last night and the second stage of Victor B was stupid; I could barely find a place to drop an EV that was likely killed right away from the flames/area damage. I couldn't even get close enough to EB him while trying to run around the "void goo" then dodge a flame wave AND flame spiral AND energy bombs AND I think there was even the ice pillars. After the marathon (literally 26.2 miles) of running (on foot) and no less than half a dozen death robes; I ended up getting a random weapon (of Force). That is so disheartening and honestly a complete waste of time and resources. 

    So I think that Victor B needs to be turned down; meaning no more scaling and limit the amount of specials he does at one time AND the area of "void goo" (and/or the amount of time it's there). If that's not going to happen then I think the drop rate needs to be increased because spending an hour of time and 100's of reagents to only end up getting 147gp from the corpse isn't a fair trade off.

    Agree with all the above except for the timers.  I use that time to res my pets because they are always dead at the fights.  Also you cant res a drake standing on another drake, so it takes many tries and movements to get them to res.  You cant make a dead pet stay in a spot, so you have to use the games poor pet following abilities to get one drake stuck on a spot and res the other that is not on that spot. Also 100 skill fails a lot. 
    Cant be ressed in this location is the msg.  Its been doing that with Drakes since the crim/plat came out.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.
