This has been confirmed by Kyronix to be a bug. Spell books will not be transferable.

Believe that’s actually a bug per the Discord - you can’t transfer them. But you might confirm over there.
Your gonna have take them out of my cold dead crate.
Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

  • There any reconsideration for the Ossidrial being transferable? I pointed out in an earlier comment (https://forum.uo.com/discussion/comment/124065/#Comment_124065) as to why they're not OP for Prodo shards, and there's not much reason to exclude them.
Also, would it be possible to make Reagent Bags of Unburdening transferable? Those would be great for Sampires/Wammies that cast Necro spells (Curse Weapon/Corpse Skin), and for Bards to carry Sulfurous Ash in. Or at least make them purchasable on Prodo from NPC Vendors.

Are there any plans to bring over AI improvements from NL to Prodo? Pets are a lot more responsive on NL, and will actually stick to whatever you tell them to attack (even switching targets on a dime if you tell them to kill a new one). Attacking one mob in a group, will aggro the whole group as well. Magery casters also make much better use of their spells like Healing and such.

PS: A bit off-topic, but can we have the mounted requirement removed from the Yumi's "Double Shot" ability? It prevents back Tamer/Archers from using Double Shot if they have a 5 slot pet fighting.

I  doubt if the bags will be transferable, but I don't see why we couldn't ask for a version with more capacity allowance as gift, or maybe a huntmaster reward. My alchemist and scribe would both love one.

The Developers have an answer to why Ossidrial will not be transferable on their 5 on Fridays question on discord. :)

Bah. I was so looking forward to having a Skeletal Dragon pet on Prodo. Necromancers having Skeletal Dragons via Command Undead is kind of a bogus excuse, since those Skeletal Dragons can't be kept/stabled, you have to re-acquire them every time you log on, and they're a pain in the ass to haul around. Hence why you see almost noone hauling around Skeletal Dragons, even though people clearly want a Skeletal Dragon (remember how many people were bank sitting with special hued Skeletal Dragons from the Treasures of the Shogun event?)

Since the devs seem to be on a kick about introducing massive mounts like the Clydesdale, i suggest they introduce the Gorgon (a massive stone/metal bull that has a petrifying gas breath attack).
Have it spawn in Medusa's Lair, and Medusa can drop a Lure for it (yes, port over the Lure mechanic from NL to Prodo, you can breathe life back into so many old boss encounters with this). Make it available to spawn in any ore colors (affected by Totems of Chromatic Fortune, with Blackrock being Uber-Rare). When ridden it can provide the 12% PvM Damage Reduction of unbreakable Swamp Dragon Armor. I'd also love to see it be given the mounted "Stomp" attack that Chaos Dragoons can do with their Swamp Dragon mount, or a Breath attack that can briefly stun surrounding opponents.

I don't fancy riding that. Most uncomfortable.
