Disconnection Issues Since Last Update

The last two days has seemed many players crash several times during the event. Last night my husband lost connection at least 5 times, myself 6, and others had a similar issue. Which client, web based or not didn’t make any difference. This is on the Baja shard.

I've noticed more crashes since the rifted crown event started... I kind of chalked it up to Mistas because that seems to be where it happens the most (also is where I spend 90% of my time). Also chalked it up to playing on ATL lol.

A few on LS have crashed multiple times during the Mistas fight since the last patch. Some were before.

I was using the EC and Pinco's UI and had at least one or two crashes per event for weeks.  I uninstalled Pinco's and have had zero crashes.  I did reinstall the EC too..

The connection losses due to client server synchronization error are so frequent for me it's made the game unplayable. I've sent emails to developers with no response. For me it started with the last event and now with the most recent patch it's worse.  Now my client actually shuts down to desktop randomly.  I have no other issues with connection loss on any other games I play online.  It's just UO.  At this point after 28 years, I'm letting my subscriptions run out on a game I truly love playing, it's no longer worth the nightly frustration of trying to stay connected to UO servers.

Here's something to add to the mystery, i had two accounts on today, both paid accounts, one i was filling BOD's on and the other was filling the transfer crate. one had the disconnect, the other did not.

That will happen to me once in a while.  But not in the last few months.   I have been using CUO and have minimum 3 guys on for the event.  One time one of them disconnected, his was so bad it kicked him to Humility.  CUO sticks pretty well.

Lokea who uses CC I think, has had disconnects for the whole event.  Since the last patch, at least 3 other players have had 4 to 6 disconnects during each city event.  That would be horrible.

This happens to me as well... I'll have 3 windows open sometimes and only 1 will disconnect. I'm using CC for all 3.

It’s been bad the last 48 hours - both my kid and I on two different computers are crashing multiple times during the Mistas event. Can’t really pin down what the problem is.  Both on EC

    CUO.
CUO makes CC and EC look and feel like actual garbage (because they are). I don't understand a boomers need to stick with an inferior product when legitimately better options exist. Gets old seeing "I crashed" in Gen chat 50 times a siege because y'all can't be bothered to switch to the vastly superior client thats been available for nearly a year.

Content updates would probably be more frequent/larger if the staff wasn't constantly busy trying to get archaic clients that should be retired to continue working in a never ending patchwork, because y'all refuse to modernize or let go of said archaic clients.

Yes, CUO.  They are updating it when players tell them about issues, they do not take time away from the Devs.  Very few crashes.

Why has a thread about disconnect issues been allowed to turn into a CUO tutorial?

So those who do not want to disconnect can play?

Or we could focus on the issue and getting it fixed

I believe that one could quite possibly facillitate the other.

It is the Counter, you can change its size and rows. I couldn't figure out what that action bar under experimental does and no tool tip i could find. The only issue with the counter is, instead of putting each individual runebook it counts them and only opens the first one dropped into it so those like me that have 2-3 books can't utilize it. not the same as action bars but close. @blank is action bars like EC something that could be added.

We?  you got a programmer in your pocket?  All we can do is play with what we are given.

Right people who want to play with CC  and EC you know the official clients are having issues nothing at all to do with CUO..
