We went to the isle, Killed natives, someone said they saw Corgul in a flash.

He is not on the Island, no more spawn of natives.

This has been reported before. I think, but can't confirm, that it happens when the map you get has a short timer on it.

There were a couple of us who saw him, and he was actually aggro’d on me and following me around his spawn area. When he disappeared, I assumed he inexplicably rubberbanded back to his spawn area, even though I could see his spawn area and there was nothing there. At least he appeared, unlike last week.

I would say when this happens to page a GM as soon as you see it happen. They can investigate and assist.

Nope can't place any type boat either. Ya we were there long enough to have killed him. I almost stayed on the island to see what would happen, but I wanted to do some house deco.
