Vendor search is so bad

    No problem. Even if you simplify it and leave those fields blank (eg., just 'faster cast recovery' so it picks up items with any, or MR so it picks up items with any value of MR) or remove mods, it will still not find any results (as seen above) clearly not working as intended. Again, this used to work, but not anymore. I think the suggestion that was made to upgrade whatever server(s) the vendor search uses is very much required. Or just let it take it's time to search and not time it out. Would rather it take 3 minutes and actually give me something than timing out after 30s with no results.

    As I noted in a post nine months ago, adding skill bonuses to a search causes it to succeed for some reason. Unfortunately that doesn't really help you find anything unless you happen to be shopping specifically for jewelry with a particular skill on it. Posting a bunch of screenshots with skill bonus searches in them and going :"duh works for me" is just ignorant.

    Ironically, the OP of that post is experiencing the exact same issue I'm having. Doing a 'complicated' search that has worked in the past, but now no longer works. I even replied and told him exactly what I'm experiencing today, how you can only do ~2 mods to get it to work. Lol. 

    By the way, this was 9 months ago. And still not fixed and no public word of any sort of fix.

    I know this isn't the response you are looking for because it's not a "fix", but I do believe the reason is that there are too many results being sorted through (ie  it's just ATL) because I did this same exact search on Sakura/Europa/Pacific (tried to hit different countries and timezones) and I had no issue with the search returning "No items found" within 5 seconds. 

    It's only when I try to search on ATL with that exact search where I get the issue. If I switch from Non Auction to Auction; I get a "No results found" within 20 seconds. I understand where you are coming from...those stats are the base of what you want and you are open to other things in addition, but I was able to get "results" (ie no items matched) when I added just 1 other additional property like SDI or a skill which leads me to believe that there are either too many items in general to parse through or those stats are too common (seems like a standard Mystic/Wizardry item) and needs to have something else added. Not really the answer you were looking for but if you really want to find the item that does seem to work (and is what I've done for other things I've been looking for).

    I was able to try for a while just now on Atl.

    I put in the original stats:
    faster cast recovery 3
    faster casting 1
    mana regeneration
    intelligence
    lower reagent cost

    Tried with and without Not Antique,  (not Antique will cause timeouts many times)

    Too long.

    Reduced the quantities until I got down to two stats.  I tried many options of two.  Still get time out.

    At the moment I can try Non Antique and 1 of the stats and it shows the timeout msg, but the results appear about 30 seconds later.

    So, right now On Atl I am having less ability than the OP had, I can not get 2 of the stats.

    I added a starting price 0f 5M then 10M.  still time out.
