Request for the Shadowmane statue be able to be turned into an Ethy

I have over 500 points now so I can buy the Shadowmane statue, but I only want it if it can be turned into an Ethy since I already have two on NL. Will this be added in the future? And while on the subject can you add the Frozen Mare statue to the list when we transfer our NL characters to Production after the Shattering?

I made a suggestion on the feedback channel in the discord and that had a few people want this as well. Sadly no response from the devs if this could happen. I really wish it would.

I would also like them to make this an option (even more so) for the frozen steeds from nl after the shattering.

I really was looking forward to this, after I was told it would be possible. And that it would retain the color of the mare without needing to use the paint tool on it.

But if Shadowmane is an ethy... then its just an ethy horse that takes 2 slots instead of 1. Like actually what is the point? I can understand the Ursine, its a unique model, Shadowmane and the Wildfire Ostard are not. They are just a horse and ostard model with unique hues.

"Ethy" doesn't mean "spawns as a mount from the pack", it means "ghostly, transparent, phantom like".

An ethereal does literally spawn from your backpack. I don't know what you mean. Anyway, so ok, let it be shadowy like the rest of the ethereals and we can use the paintbrush tool on it to make it look solid like we already can with all the other ethereal mounts we use.

Not all backpack mounts are "ethys", they are "backpack mounts". "Ethy" literally means "ethereal". My Charger is not an "ethy", thank you.

So a 2 slot backpack mount... meaning you're probably a tamer to begin with. Why would you want to take up 2 slots for a mount that can't even be used in combat? If you're participating in group activities with that and a 3-slot in tow, you aren't exactly helping the group, you're making yourself a liability. Sure, pet summoning ball a 5-slot in after dismount, but now you're without a mount till you stable it. Seems incredibly inefficient.

I think you're splitting hairs on what constitutes an ethereal ride vs a backback mount but ok. I still don't see what difference it makes. If I'm a tamer I'd claim the pet and train it. If I'm another character type and not using pets for anything other than a ride why would I care if it takes two slots or one? And if they allow us to make it a "backpack" mount, ethereal or otherwise, what's it going to hurt?

I'm just chiming in with what others thought would offer more appeal with claiming the statue as a ride as opposed to a trainable pet. I know some thought it was going to be either or. Others were just hoping but weren't sure.
