Blowing up something big...can we blow up Malas?  >:)

Sounds like I will need to finish my Thief character, or get my kid to do it.

For those not listening to it, he discussed the Classic Client and their milestones:
    • Build the Classic Client on modern platform/newer development software (1st part of the graphics update - finished)
    • Update the renderer to go to 60 fps (1st part of the graphics update)
    • Make the gameplay window adjustable (2nd part of the graphics update, tougher)
    • After those things, they'll look at quality-of-life changes in the future.
They hope that no old tools are affected (UO Assist) and believe that they won't be affected.

Sounds like the build/render stuff is happening now, and the gameplay window is farther out.

Edit: No Martian Dreams/spaceships/ray guns are planned.

    New Legacy/Shattering:
At the end of the season, it's not a hard stop. When the shattering begins, there will be an event in NL publish 3 that will end the world and will tie everything together (including production shard events) and after playing through that event you will experience the world ending. You can then transfer off the stuff mentioned in the FAQ.  Characters will transfer with skills and skills will work  according to production skills.

The NL shard will never go down permanently (will be some downtime with the switchover with a new season).  New season resets the shard and things begin again.

The NL shard will be the most fleshed-out new player onboarding experience.

If they added the EC map and hotbars to cc I'd gladly Go back

if they make CC work like the EC, but CC graphics, I'm in.

    A Goblin, a Gargoyle, and a Drow walk into a bar . . .

Never be afraid to challenge the status quo

Thanks for this recap @Lokea but I encourage folks here to check out the VOD Epic just posted to his YouTube channel as well!

And thinking of showing the most epic of OSI content creators some love by subbing to Patrick's channel, Team Ultima Online!
