Can Sovereign Store Items be Stolen

I was considering buying a robe and a dog statue from the item shop using sovereign currency. Can any item be stolen from my backpack?

    All pvp action, including stealing from players, takes place on the Felucca facet. If you're not there, you can't be stolen from.
