New Player: Advice on Ninja and Progression.
Hello, new on Atlantic Shard. Name is Fishgoldor. I'm a Ninja/Gargoyle. I started recently. I was given some armor and a weapon and 2k gold from someone after playing for an hour and wandering around doing quests. This nice person took me to a local training spot and taught me some basics. I've been training in that spot and hoarding everything I loot in my bank. I subbed to get the unlimited bank space because I love to hoard stuff, but idk what any items are for. I'm just killing zombies as a bunny and training ninjutsu spells and hiding/stealth. My skills are around or near 50. When should I be doing dungeons? What else should I look into doing? I've just been going between the starter town and my training spot since I started.

You can go into dungeons anytime, there are easier things on the first levels.
Take a look at some of these quests, you can learn where things are and get some goodies.

Personally I like from time to time to go spend 25-60min at Fel covetous near the entrance, stealing from harpies while collecting feathers. (also a great way to lvl up ninjitsu around 85+ with death strike or with focus attack before that)
You gonna need to train stealing a bit more or get some stealing gears/jewelry.
PS: you took a shit template as a starter character.. specially for ATL. Thief gameplay is kinda limited.. almost niche.. and before it's GM++ it's kinda useless.. u can also add magery/meditation without evaluating to make things easier on your for now. (to heal urself, invisible yourself; like after stealing, or to pop some energy vortex later on)
And from memory all u need in stealth is 80.. maybe 90 to stealth at 100% in leather armor (never missing a shadow jump) and don't over train stealing u have many gears to boost your stealing.
Edit: to give you an idea.. thief got a lot of gears with extra skill on it;
I was not done building it while being build for a recent event.. just to give u an idea. (show real skill vs boosted with items)
Leave attended paying accounts alone, these people go thru a lot of trouble to play/automate the game.

When you have Surprise Attack level, do the same but with this spell.
When you have the level to do Death Strike, do the same but with this spell, because it will be faster.
If it seems too heavy and you want more dynamic, go to New Haven, the undead creatures (area training) will not attack you, so go against them doing Focus Attack, Surprise Attack and when you have level Death Strike according to your skill.
Considering that you are new, the question is key, why do you want this skill, is it to attack in the shadows and move in the shadows?
With hidding and stealth and flying like gargoyle you can evade many situations, you can choose to replace ninjitsu by other less sacrificed skills, ninjitsu is mainly used by assassins and felucca scouts.
Courage in your adventure, I attach some generic guides in case they help you.
Other than than, welcome to the greatest MMORPG ever and let me know if I can be of any help to you on your new player journey!
As an arguably new player to Ultima Online, I would politely disagree with your disagreement @Grimbeard
B. You actually have to play your character to progress your Narrative Quest. It's not about finding the most efficient way to repeat the same action over and over again to skill cap.
C. It does significantly streamline the Ultima Online experience, making it overall less overwhelming for new players. And I should know, as a new player that has played on Atlantic before.
This is why I personally believe New Legacy is a much better experience for entirely new players checking out Ultima Online for the first time.
You can find invulnerable armor on the ground. I doubt a new player on prodo shards can find the best armor being dropped on the ground. Drop a few paladin vambraces near me pls.
