Wrong Quest direction guidance

I'm getting the message saying my quest objective is far to the NE even though I don't have any quests at all and I'm getting it while i'm also doing the Ranger quest line and it's incorrect.  Far to the NE while i'm just West of the Hedge Maze standing a few feet from my goal.

    Following the directions it lead me to the Vesper Museum.  It updated to Nearby to the East but there's only water out there.

    Also this is interfering with trying to do the Ranger quest chain (and probably any others).  I play EC and my guildie plays CC (who is also getting the same messages) so it's not a UI issue.

    This will be addressed in an upcoming hotfix.

    Thanks.  I got around it by selecting a different quest to track but had to keep doing it as the quest chain progressed.
