    No, people want the problem to be fixed, not for the devs to hold our hands through the downtime.

    They notified the playerbase of the issue. We do not need a play by play of what the actual issue may have been or what they were doing to resolve it, just that they are resolving it.

    Now that the problem is "over" my wild speculation is this had all the hallmarks of a DDOS attack on the login server and the solution was to update the clients to use a different address for the login server.  Hopefully they added address roll over to use different addresses if one is not working.

    Oh the pains of server migration. At least it seems like the servers seem a bit smoother when everything is working. Or maybe not.

    Relax. "play properly for weeks"? It was a few afternoons/evenings. These events run for 90 days now where years ago they only ran for 45-60 days. If you haven't gotten what you need in the 75 days it's been running, well, hate to break it to you: the few days missed isn't going to matter much is it?

    no i dont relax, iam paying for a service and that server was crap for weeks, its not only the login server issues but also the countless times the servers went down. 

    also its not about the time the event runs,

    its about properly handling a case which affected hundreds or thousands of paying customers.

    These boring ass ToTs have gone on long enough and the nightmares will have been active for almost FIVE MONTHS. A few afternoons/evenings are irrelevant. You will relax because lol you ain't getting a free vet pick or a month of game time, delusional much?

    Just remember years ago that when Atlantic reverted an ENTIRE WEEK OF GAMEPLAY we got a god awful garbage clicky as an apology "BETTER LATE THAN NEVER", named that because it took Mesanna several months to even give us that with some sarcastic name.

    iam not delisional, if i would treat my customers like that i could be happy not get sued.

    also i already said i dont care about those events at all it seems you are just not able to read or comprehend.

    Boo hoo. Then sue or do a chargeback on your payment method for the game time, "product not as described". Be sure to tell me how far you get with either of those. You lost a few $ of game time, get over it.

    A continued persistent issue with no response as to what happened, each and every time, is entirely unacceptable, period. If your power, gas, or Internet were having constant lapse in services, you'd be pissed and throwing a fit, but because its a video game we're supposed to just "let it go"? You really are cattle if you believe that.

    This right here is why I find myself siding with the damned bot farmers on a lot of core issue over the actual players. This level of complacency for being treated like utter garbage as a customer is absolutely fucking absurd. Consumer rights, customer satisfaction, what the hell are those, am I right?! It's a backwards mentality I straight up cannot stand, and part of me feels they deserve being treated like this, they seem perfectly content with it.

    Join the club.. game is totally unplayable for legit CC PvP users.. i'm paying for 2 accounts and cannot enjoy the MAIN content a theme gated game has to offer.. and the last time they communicate on the matter was in july 2024.

    I'm legit paying for 2 accounts and hvn'T log in game for ~2 months cuz of it.


    @username u say 90 days of events.. I try to play for ~8days before giving up.. totally unplayable for any legit PvP users. I want those 82 days back.
    So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

    Leave attended paying accounts alone, these people go thru a lot of trouble to play/automate the game.

    Sounds like you need someone to teach you how to use a computer.  The servers were unstable because of attack for a week.  I was able to do two 1 hour luck runs that week and lots of decorating.  Yesterday I did an hour run.

    The game was unplayable for hours not 80 days.

    For someone who doesn't play, you sure say you see a lot of bots.

    There were responses each time. Something I could possible agree with you on however is that UO.com is down often (as it is right now) and that we didn't get an update on the long weekend (MLK day) which is kinda expected.
