How are we supposed to play the Invasion Event with continuous freezes & disconnections ?

I do not understand how we are supposed to play the Invasion Event content with the continuous freezes and disconnections... and no, it is not my connection because I asked in General Chat to fellow players and they are also experiencing the same...

Perhaps, it should be better to put the Events on hold until the connection issues with the servers are fixed for good and then prolong, also to help out UO players with their reduced enjoyment of this content because of these connection issues, the Events deadlines ?

im normally pretty lag free even with the bots, but its definitely got worse since yesterday, even on my "dead" shard

Obviously i didnt go to Fel to test if it was better, as im a trammie and Fel is full of pvp losers ;-)

good war and totally legitimate ^^
So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

Leave attended paying accounts alone, these people go thru a lot of trouble to play/automate the game.

Nothing new here to UO’s usual unexpected update problems here although this was the first time my shard was not listed when I logged back on after being disconnected.  YouTube has great black and white B movies from the 50’s and the 60’s you can use to pass the time until the game gets back to normal.  That’s what I do.  Appreciated that they sent my toon home in good condition.  Would have expected to see something from the developers on the other thread relating the problems with the game that day, but all I saw was a warning treating to close the thread.

I would say to everyone, just take a break from UO for a few days, let this process play out

DDOS /Migration.  Whatever may or may not be going on will affect you

Everyone hates reverts and losing stuff or having a char trapped in a dungeon only to find them dead when you manage to get back in

Leave your chars at home, relax. play something else like Star Citizen!

Come back later when its stabilized

The tech was not where Chris wanted it to be.. so they been working on other stuff.. now the tech is ready (server meshing).. as soon squadron 42 gonna launch.. the mass gonna start dreaming about SC with them nerds.

Peronally I crowfunded SotA instead.. huge mistake that teached me a lesson.. never again.

Steam has many single player games.  Dawn of Man and Planetbase are made by the same company. They are builders. Lots of other builders.  All the Age of Empires.
They have most board games you can play against other players, Wingspan, Dominion, Catan. etc.

If you like top down single turn games, Jagged Alliance is cool.
Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

Personally I got Starcraft, Civ 5 and duckstation installed.

This gems drop 2 days ago *crossing fingers*

I'm not giving on UO tho.. with such WTF.. we need to aim for the head.. with actual legit players support; we could achieve the end result waaaay faster.. i'm not coping with the level of anti play we got in game and for what result? peanuts..?
When we could have one of the top 10 MMOrpg even in 2025??

    Heresy..

If UO was still being run by Kyronix alone, I could say things like 'Keep up the good work, don't push yourself too hard,' 'The various problems are the accumulated consequences of the past. You shouldn't have to shoulder all the responsibility alone,' and 'Well, I'll keep supporting you.' However, I cannot comprehend how a company with dozens of employees fails to properly communicate progress updates, let alone have their producer say even a single word. If I were in their position, I would undoubtedly be working tirelessly to explain the situation to users and respond sincerely.

The scripters who keep devaluing GP, the RMT-controlling cheaters, the pointless censorship on the forums - honestly, none of these issues individually have much impact on me personally. They're problems I can somewhat avoid by simply turning a blind eye and deaf ear.

But what happens when all these tolerable individual issues pile up together? Distrust continues to grow, and users start leaving... Yes, that's exactly what's happening with UO now.

Broadsword's lack of communication skills is not an issue that should be overlooked.
