It's time to rethink these ToTs for the next time around...

Perhaps these awful boring grindfests that hand out best in slot items and give bot armies a payday isn't the best idea for an event. We've been stuck in a rut, going around in circles, groundhog day-ing every 6 months with these ToTs for years and it's time to give them up, in favor of something else. They're played out at this point and not fun, especially not fun with all the botting.

However, I'm sure we'll never be rid of them completely, as they're free lazy 'content' for the devs while they focus on NL, in which case I'd suggest all gear rewards in the future from similar events, not limited to ToTs, become account bound:
  • Possibly reduced point->reward cost as inherent no market value
  • Able to transfer rewards to other shards like true sandbox game (not shard bound)
  • Incentive to purchase potions - currently none when it's more cost effective to simply buy more rewards from 24/7 bots for cheaper than the potion itself, which would yield less reward points
  • Incentive for players to come back and play the game
  • 24/7 bots for 3 months disappear, no RMT incentive
Let's make it happen! Any other suggestions?

    unsub till BS addresses the problem and send them on a ban world server with no transfer shield?

    Bashing mobs events are great! for 4-6 weeks.. the reward is an heresy.. it should not exist in those format on a sandbox game.. Best in Slot item make mainstream during a limited time.. all the same pool of heresy should come back year after year.. it's not friendly for new nor returning players.

    They should stop inciting us to use illegal third party client and stop with the bad PR BS.. they just look like failures while creating false expectation.

    Or just make one new server for Legit users.

    Imo, you don't fix a sandbox heresy with another one.. or u end up with one of the best sandbox game with a tiny community of real people.. that gonna die when it's remaining community does.


    Make enough noise for EA to hear us?
    Lots of solution but there is a price to pay instead of getting on your knee in front people ruining the game for others.. starting with the PvP or main events.
    So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

    the master of closed threads hit again. Ok so now you want shard bound removed ??? you ask for shard bound and defend it even if eveyone told you how crap it was. you seriously lost credibility everytime you post here. you just seem like an angry chocken with no head running around.

    i dunno im having alot of fun with the current ToT event, course i also choose not to play on a toxic server over run with bots and multiple boxers, i dunno i mean that might have something to do with it ~shrugs~

    I have never once asked for shard bound nor defended it.

    Instead of trolling, perhaps offer a suggestion that defeats the mass bot armies from RMT, makes these events more fun, etc.

    You should try to ask question.. u clearly lacking the skill to understand what i'm saying.. since day 1 i'm saying shard bound is an heresy.. it kills the game for most new or returning players (the one NOT on ATL)

    While killing ATL during the events.. if u don't see the problem.. ask questions, cuz your conclusion is dumb.. since day 1 i'm calling those shard bound; heresy.

    You are not PvPing.. u forgot the fact it kills the PvP (the game) for A LOT of players (the majority of western gamers still legit and a lot of those enjoy a good PvP session)

    I have a suggestion. Maybe go play another game. Or create your own shard where your ingenious ideas can be implemented. This cannot be fun for you. Most of us are having fun. Touch grass, read a book, play a game you actually find enjoyable. Stop trying to be the Sherlock Holmes of Ultima Online. It's clearly not working.

    I promise u big change incoming in the next year.. BS can'T stop shooting themselves in the foot, starting with NL.. all we need is some exposure on certain aspects.. wich i can provide.

    What's this "big change" that you promise me? And which certain aspects need "exposure"? This all seems very cryptic to me. What is management supposed to be realizing?
