Revenants in event cities are still invulnerable

But this isn't a complaint thread. Personally, being well-prepared to receive attacks, my response to invulnerable revenants is to completely ignore them as they feebly wave their little halberd at me.

No, rather this is a praise thread. There appears to be a belief in some quarters that characters are entitled to run around intense combat situations with no real personal defense whatsoever, and having them hounded to the ends of the earth (by something that couldn't kill me even if I were AFK) seems like a very efficient way to correct this misconception.

The decision to prioritize other "issues" over this one was completely correct, and I use quotes because I don't believe this is really an issue at all. Perhaps builds that can't survive sixty seconds tanking the equivalent of a newbie character with an NPC weapon need to be improved if they're expected to be viable in such events.

That's all. Just wanted to post a positive thread for once.

Yes, still recalling home with them to dispel or kill.  Can’t dispel EV’s either.

It gives me a good reason other than fun of getting harder PvE/overwhelm during an invasion; losing artifact using the paladin over the sampire.. I can flex my dispell evil ability.

The only legit complaint about them could come from a mage user (clearly not a friendly event for them).. good post tho.
So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

I've not played a mage, so I'm not sure if this is any help, but chiv dispel evil works on them, and if I run them to an edge of the spawn, a bow with hit dispel works too.

weirdly enough dispell weapon seems to work.. but I'm pretty sure both mage dispell ain't working on revenant.. and at a certain point(might still be the case); some portion of some cities those same mage couldn't dispell their own EV's.

    Good call tho; hit dispel.

There are spots in each city where things can not be dispelled.

If you really want this changed, you need to make a bug report and put in the x y coords.  Because if a dev or anyone else checks this, there is an 80% chance you will be in a spot that will allow dispelling.

Those spots also correspond to spot where bodies will appear on the event creatures.

If you want to test it cast an EV or BS and see if it dispels.  Move to different areas and repeat.

This is not a blanket issue, there are spots where dispel works.  It works in the Ant holes.
Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

This is so easy to test.  Invasion is Jhelom right now.  I say Jhelom Mint at a portal.  I cast cast an EV and dispel it at my entry point right by the town stone.  It works here.  Too fast for me to get a picture.

I go to the Northwest cast an EV.  I can not dispel it.

This took how long to do?  A few minutes.  Maybe they can fix the problem if they know the coords of where it does not work.  Because if they read this thread, it says it does not work in the city.  So, someone goes to the city the fastest possible route like I did, and they can Dispel things.

Takes longer to complain about it over and over than it does to help them fix the issue.  But yall prefer to complain all the time.

Don’t think anyones working on this.  No big deal just recall out, dispel, and recall back in.  Dispel does work in some places mostly on the fringe.  Think it worked near the moongate of one of the island cities.  Really just recall now.

If I ever find one of those vortex/anomaly; i'd keep the info for myself..

I suspect this would be one of those mysterious guard zone and I could wack a couple reds  :*

Seriously tho, arnold seems to have find a way around his issues.

Your example @pawain in jhelom on Legends i'm certain I lured a necro boss there to kill it in solo, dual account Fel side. (bracelet of binding; pop 2 ev's then hide; when the necro boss invisible.. EV's does not reaggro.. i dispel then recast)

It is very annoying to be a summons user and not be able to Dispel them and move to a new area.

They can't fix it until they know what zones work and don't work.   They were able to control which zones did not create event mobs for the Tokuno event.  The areas must be divided into zones.
