Hi Team NL!

This is a very strange bug reported by Joojeh, a friend and guild member. Here is the recap:

Possible Player Housing related Quest Objective Bug
  • Was online with @Poison Ivy last night. She mentioned the objective "complete 5 jobs from the guild town job board" can be done simply by doing jobs in whatever town you placed your personal house in. 

  • I had previously thought this objective was not possible until our guild had a guild house since completing jobs never advanced the quest for me. This is because there seems to be an important caveat: the jobs must be completed by the character you placed your house with. 

  • My guilded character is my second character and did not place my house. This would seem like a bug to me, so I hope there's a resolution in the future. I'm currently trying to devise a way to demolish my home and replace it with my second character.

    Posted a related bug here with respect to housing. This bug however is especially disappointing since using a second character limits me from contributing to my guild.

    Thanks for opening this @DM_Wyvern! This appears to be resolved now with the new functionality introduced in patch 1 allowing me to link my second character to my house. Quests completed using that character now contribute to the guild objectives. This issue can be closed.
