I'm glad you've learned to feel ashamed of the one you posted last night, with the 107 archery and all that crap. I don't see any resisting spells on this one, so if you explode and die every time anything blood oaths you, that is 100% your own fault. I don't want to hear you crying about how sampires with resisting spells are overpowered because they don't kill themselves on the regular.
I never said anything blood oathed me. You asked how could a player die, I said Blood oath and a double strike. Also all I would have to do is put on his hunters headress for 120 archery on that guy. But I choose to have 190 more luck. Some of us can think and make decisions in UO.
Its like 3% less hit chance on these 100 skill and less skill mobs and it does not make my damage go down. I choose getting drops in this luck based event... I would think that is an obvious thing to do. Damage Damage Damage Baby.
I just showed a pic of someone in chat saying it.
Like you say, How would an archer get blood oathed, they kill that low HP mob before it knows they are there. I guess you missed the pic.
Players die all the time, I really dont think you play UO.
It's a shame cuz the blood oath mechanic was the only thing to kill my sappire doing solo dark father.. to be fair it was a DOUBLE oath.. cuz i had always a remove curse precasted in early combat.
Real bad change PvE wise imo.. even worse than giving more LMC to non med armor (such a bad new hardcap power creep design).. promoting even more the sampies (leeching mecanic to sustain) and giving them even MORE power.. such bad moves.
Plus it doesn't fix their PvP problem.. all u have to do is take it a bit longer before they run out of mana and start frame skipping away.
So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world? -UO official forums, brought to you by BoardSword studio

I said that when the lag is bad and I want to make sure I don't
die, I stone on archery because it's totally easymode. In response you
started squawking about blood oath. Then I told you to get resisting
spells and you linked your hilarious little window where you had 75 of
it.
Oh but now you never die to blood oath and
everything is super easy. Uh huh, sure, okay. So I guess you agreed with
me all along? Seriously brosef, I want you to make up your mind:
Is the event so easy that you can run around with 107 archery and 75 resist in a luck suit and be totally fine?
ORRRR...
Is it so hard that a decent sampire never dying at it proves they're overpowered?
I die quite a bit. I play like I drive, aggressively. Love running into the houses when I see they are full. Sometimes you can find 4 or 5 mean paras in them. I need a WW bow when I do that with him. When I play smart. I run in and lead them out one at a time and plink the non paras and set up the paras. My macer can WW them so he don't have to play safe. He dies also. Some deaths are attributed to stopping and chatting instead of paying attention.

So you run a wack template with a primary weapon skill 10+ points below cap and another meaningful skill as low as 75, you wear a luck suit, you play recklessly, sometimes you don't even pay attention to the screen, and you apparently still find enough success this way to consider the effort worthwhile.
Fine, cool, neat, now imagine how little you would die if you were actually good at the game and paying attention. Sounds like this event is pretty easy and you just need to stop seething over the fact that a bunch of sampires die less than you.
Also, god, everyone, some of you guys are taking this crap too seriously. Paging the mods. Complaining about "censorship" and stuff. Forum PVP is supposed to be fun.

The best part of PvP on a sandbox to me is fighting injustice; people doing bad stuff.. Glad u don't care but with a couple more of me we would have a way better game.
If u don't care the best is to say nothing.. imagine if all those people would lose their vote.. the selfish mentally would take a hit while getting closer to the utopia.
Also disagree keep the fun in game.. a forum should be taken on a more "professional" approach (the greater good) Let's have a discussion...
Instead.. we having one sampie and one tamer (the two brain dead class.. making most PvE a casual walk.. both totally OP) arguing with each others.. y'all got spoiled and closing your eyes wayyyy to much (let's assume it's not cause your using them cheat engine).. the shit is botted A LOT with cheater flying over the screen frame skipping like mofos.. but who care as long as y'all spoiled begging dev to do irrational moves and more heretic totally OP theme park items.
PS: no offense to tamer and sampie.. I own one of each.. that i played.. WAY less.. cuz they make stuff boring now.. way too easy and resident sleeper.. I was more thrilled chopping wood in Fel.
I can already hear:" well player base is aging now a lot of 6..." in other word your killing the game by spoiling the player base (and it's affiliate)
