Why is New Magincia not being invaded by the undead???

Inquiring minds want to know!

I know it's been active for awhile...yet I keep waiting...and hoping....

Can they not swim? Yet Moonglow is invaded and it's on an island.....

Is there evil magic afoot that repells the undead from New Magincia?

Imagine setting up your vendor during an invasion  ;)

Jokeaside, I love to grab my scribe bods in jhelom.. been caught once so far.. old habit don't die.. so my mule might die at some point.

Lore wise i wouldn't be surprise if what u said about the spell is the truth ^^

So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

Yeah, I think WBB and New Magincia are left alone so people can shop, buy pets, return bods, return drops etc... My crafter already died twice because I usually return bods in Trinsic. Should have gone to WBB part of the map.

Much of Magincia is player residential area, that may be why it is excluded. Serpent's Hold and Buccaneer's Den also seem to be immune to attacks.

Yeah and Serps and Bucs don't have vendors or anything like that...

New Mag I can see...sorta ;) I think it makes it more fun having to fight mobs whilst shopping!

I could see it now, I bought this new pet but the invasion spawn killed it!  It also killed me and looted the stuff I just bought.  But when I went to get it back, the body went poof!

I feel the same.. been in minoc once on day 2.

Overall if the game would be clean from cheat engine users.. this would be one of the best event i've played on UO.. random town being invaded the random "stronger" mob generate a bit more variety on how to approach the bigger spawn. (I know y'all sampies or cheater cannot experienced that.. too bad)

I really thought the mobs would get more trap than that.. except the skeletal drake (flying bug) i don't have encounter a lot of issue (to compare that with honesty.. where A LOT of NPC in trinsic for example, are in impossible places)

I really like the fact it's on felluca with a decent rule set; it killed the monotony of bashing mobs while watching a second screen/ resident sleeper.

If only cheaters and bots where kept in check.. i could glaze BS on the part 2 of the event.

A small example of how fun can be the event.. I finally have geared my sappire (with the heretic sword, arm and legs).. I could use it on trammel (cuz it's on foot/wraith form easy to pick on) and get way more reward than using my weaker mid tier geared fencer paladin.. but i don't.. this mean i'm having more fun earning less reward for harder work.. wich is something to note.

Good job to the design team.. good hack n slash event to kill that monotony with little details..

PS: I would still prefer one huge event than a lot of meh over the year.. that just exist to keep us busy and bribe us with heresy.. like imagine how could it would be if NPC's during those event were in on it.. like for immersion and roleplay.. this invasion begin; u have the lightning/green fire & no mobs and all the NPC's goes in hidding and u have some type of royal guard guarding the most important aspect of the village/city (wich the invader gonna focus on) while yelling insult/profanity or just yelling stuff like the ennemy focus their attack on x part of the town, rally the troop!.. it could be MORE immersive and RP like mobs could aggro from far distance and try to overwhelm us.. but yeah solid stuff.. considering all the cheat engine users sponsor by BS.. I'll go for decent stuff  :'(
