Crafting not fully implemented?

An observation from a GM crafter on New legacy, I'm unable to craft exceptional equipment. Unsure if this is intentional - armor and weapons have base stats comparable with NPC purchased equipment. Non-base materials only offer item color changes and no changes in resist/damage profile. I am unable to "enhance" items but considering the lack of damage/resist profiles based on materials it would probably just change the items hue.

Also, crafted containers appear to be skill checking tinkering for lockable containers - which doesn't exist, yielding unlockable containers even at 100.0 carpentry - not game breaking.

    There is more to come with crafting that players will be able to unlock through communal gameplay, allowing crafters to be the keys to unlock more powerful equipment. 

    The lockable containers issue is slated for resolution in a future release.
