Costumes & Veil or Undead Top Hat

if you log out while wearing a costume, undead top hat or veil
your character appears on screen where you logged out at.
they are not technically logged in, but appear here
(usually within a couple of hours, but now its like after a few mins)

you can't pull up a bar on them
but you can see them, no matter which client you are on

I am sure this has been reported before
just wondering if this could cause problems for the characters
anybody have any bad experiences with this annoying bug?

Nope been going on for a long time.  You can not load them with items and kill them to make dupes. So this should be at the bottom of the fix list.

I'm sure someone imbibed too much and saw the toon suddenly appear and it gave them a shock.
