Trick or Treat Moon gate not working

Trick or Treat Moon gate not working - tried a number of times last night and this morning but nothing happens. Other moon gates work fine.

The trick or treat gate doesn't take you anywhere, it just triggers the ability to get a response from NPC's when you use the 'trick or treat' phrase on them.
