How are you supposed to craft Mysticism scrolls and books?

If you can't buy the reagents?

Am I missing something? Where do you get the regs?

Mystics in Ter Mur.  The place where mysticism is from.

Many are same as Magery reagents.
Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

"I'm not sure you can buy the dragon's blood and deamon bone from NPCs, you may have to kill and skin some creatures"

Yes, you can only buy bone and dirt. And theres only a few that sell it at all. Would be an all day affair to get them in bulk.

So you have to farm those two?

Anyone have suggestions on best farming practices on these?

Why do you want to craft them ? If we know what your goal is we might have better solution

Skin dragons for dragon blood.  Red bones are on the Blue things with red names in Ter Mur.

Ya you may have to play to get them. Horrible.

Or ask someone on your shard for an LRC suit.

I enjoy playing but I also hate wasting my time. Needed to be sure I wasn't missing something about how to obtain these regs.

Not sure the market for them makes it worth it unfortunately

@DeathBringer Medusa has lot of the mysticism scrolls when she dies.
I usually grab those when my guild does that event.
(about 16 of each scroll thats on the corpse)

(I believe you can get some from Navrey, but don't remember how much)

And the daemon bone can be gathered from the Dark Guardians in Doom.
30 on each corpse (also a Malas Treasure map, Stash or Supply)

bone you can get pretty quickly by killing zombies in new haven
(cut up bones as you get them)

Two mystics in The royal city sell bone and dirt,  you can also loot dirt from dead earth elementals, for example the New Haven mine.  The two others you have to farm or find sellers using vendor search.  To farm one of the reagents get a reptile slayer and a skinning knife.  Kill toxic sliths in Tel Mur and then skin them to get the reagent.  My mage can one shot them with the his scrapper reptile slayer.  For the other ingredient kill those black void creatures in Tel Mur and find the ingredient on their corpse.  You need several different slayers for those creatures.  Killing the void creatures is a pain as there are several different kinds with each having it’s own unique  set of abilities.

By the way to answer your question on profitability if you plan on selling the books and scrolls, the return is just not there.
