Trammel and Felucca Appearance.

I often send my material gathering mule character to Felucca to take advantage of the double resource spawns there. My question is, that after he or any of my toons spend significant time in Felucca, and I bring them home to my house in Trammel it will make a like scary music sound cue and then switch the appearance of the terrain from Trammel's to Felucca's. Why does this happen? And how long can I expect it to last?
