Floating pumpkins disabling boats.

Today I managed to somehow pick up a pumpkin on my boat. I could move forward till it hit the back of the boat and backward till it hit the front of the boat and sideways till it hit there. Beyond that I was stuck.  
Then I remembered @Cinderella 's picture showing pumpkins on the mooring ropes. I managed to juggle back and forward till I got it lined up on the rope and moved sideways till it was on it. Now I can continue sailing, but the thing is stuck there.

    but I did get one small pumpkin on mine.

    however, the day after, they are on the water.
    And now they are hard objects in the water.
    And now I have to navigate around them.

    Are the pumpkin head pirates on TC1 yet? If so, where are you launching your ships from on TC1 - Brit docks?

    yes
    I mainly do Zento docks and go south.
    I like Tokuno better.
    but if you have to do Trammel or fel, go to Jhelom and do that area 
    or between Moonglow and the floating emporium

    I was in Fel - I like it there because you don't follow a 'track' and find a player boat at the end.
