Long ignored because trying to use icons from the 'actions' menu just got a 'use a crafting tool first' message even when you were crafting, MissE has discovered some commands that made them useable (posted by her in General Discussions). However this has revealed a more serious bug.
Using the 'repair' crafting utility icon with a smith hammer, instead of repairing the item, gives the message 'target the item to recycle' and smelts the item. This could lead to the loss of some seriously expensive equipment.

This fixed bug has reared its head again. Using the 'repair' icon with a smith tool gives the message 'target the item to recycle'.  Luckily I discovered it when crafting repair deeds and not repairing an item.
