How do you make the matriarch trophy? I have tried to make it with carpentry, and although I had the correct amount of wood and the skull, I keep getting a message that I am missing components.  The menu only asks for those 2 items. Do you have to do something to the skull before attempting to make the trophy?

Some of those require the taxidermy kit from a tanner

One call out here (that I haven't tested)...If you are using the matriarch skull that drops now; that is an item you turn in (likely has a timer on it). To make a mounted matriarch head, I'm pretty sure you would have needed to select the matriarch (or Broodmother) skull from the Umbrascale vendor.

You do not need taxidermy kit. It is its own option in carpentry menu.

They lost shard bound when crafted.
