Dear Kyronix, Crafters would benefit greatly from Armor Armoires and Weapons Racks...

Dear Kyronix and Dev Team,

when crafting armor and weapons and reforging them, often, the crafter needs to make many, many pieces be it for resistances that have to matching between pieces (for example when crafting/reforging/enhancing for 190 Luck) or, in the case of 100% Elemental weapons, many need to be crafted and reforged before that particular damage on that weapon that is needed at the moment, gets made.

In the process, lots and lots and lots of pieces get crafted and reforged (hundreds, thousands...) and most crafters, lacking the storage space to store them, have no other solution but to trash them, unravel them, destroy them.

And every new job they need to start again, crafting and reforging hundreds if not thousands of pieces or armor and destroy what are not needed for the job of the moment.

This takes time, a lot of time as crafters well know, and it is worsened by the fact that crafters, for the most part, do not have the ability to store the hundreds and thousands of armor and weapons which they craft and reforge and have to start for each job anew because they had to trash those which last job were not usable (but could be usable for this one time new job with different resistances and reforges needs if the crafter had had a way to store them painlessly...).

If Armor Armoires and Weapons Racks existed (like for jewels, holding 500 but counting as 1 item), crafters could store all the armor and weapons which they crafted and reforged which for that job of the time were not useful but could become useful for a future job with different needs thus saving their time in the future which they could use to play other aspects of UO rather then having to repeatedly keep crafting and reforging armor and weapons which they then have to destroy because not having an efficient and practical way to store them.

Of course, it would be good if these containers had a good search filter like that of the Vendor Search to make it painless to then retrieve the armor pieces and weapons that are needed when the time comes and a new job is commissioned to the crafter.

Please, help crafters save their time and thus be able to enjoy more aspects of UO rather then have to keep crafting and reforging armor and weapons at every new job, which they then need to destroy because they lack an efficient way to store them, by making available to them Armor Armoires and Weapons Racks with a strong search engine like that of the Vendor Search that hold 500 but count as 1 like the jewellery boxes.

Thank you so much.

How much useful armor and weapons do you have? I barely have any just the best weapons for the right situation and most armor is useless compared to the new stuff and I've been playing 18 years. You must keep everything you see if you can't when carry jems you find in chests.

Aside from the fact that there are UO players with quite a lot of amor and weapons, my argument was, to help out "crafters"...

I assume that you do not have a crafter or have not had experience on using one otherwise, you would have seen how it is necessary to make lots, really lots of pieces, easily several hundreds, likely thousands, whether of armor or weapons that they need to reforge, imbue be it for example 190 Luck or 100% elemental damage, before they actualy get the single 1 piece which they actually need for that particular job of the moment, depending on what their customer's needs are.

Most of those crafted or reforged pieces are actually good ones only, they have for example the resists assorted differently as they want or, the 100% elemental is not the one they have been commissioned but another type. All perfectly good items for a different client with different needs.

Yes, it would be beneficial to crafters to keep these perfectly good hundreds and thousands of crafted pieces, be them armor or weapons, for future needs and different client's requests... yet, in most cases today they cannot because of the storage issues related.

"If" there were Armor Armoires and Weaopns rack holding 500 but counting as 1 (like the jewellery box) and with a good and sound search engine like that which Vendor Search has for armor and weapons, crafters could instead store these crafted and reforged thousands of perfectly good pieces to then have them ready in the future for different clients' needs thus saving up their time not having to again craft and reforge them.

Spending time to craft and reforge armor and weapons to then have to destroy them because there is not an efficient way to store and keep them in UO for a future use, looks to me as absurd and punishing towards crafters.

I hope that the Developers will want to make these much needed containers avaialble to crafters to enhance and make crafting in UO more players' friendly and not so much detrimental, whereas crafters have to destroy their just made wares because they lack the space to store them for a future use.
