Umbrascale Corpses In Dungeons Are Poofing Too Fast Now

Just logged into Destard to get some turn ins and within 2 seconds after the creature dies the body poofs. There's no time to even try to loot the body. Is this intended?

    I heard it was changed to fix lag. 

    Personally I had no problems with lag until I started seeing some choo choo trains.

    Yup.  The bounty of gold has ended.  Just did Matriarch on Atlantic.   Game still freezes when she dies.

    The nests have 20k stacks of gold.  Ya one of our players is furious over this.

    Fixed an Atlantic problem by punishing every other shard...

    Yes, this was an intentional change to improve performance and playability in densely populated dungeons.  This does not apply to paragons.

    The paragons last the normal amount of time and there appears to be plenty of those to get insurance money.

    So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

    Leave attended paying accounts alone, these people go thru a lot of trouble to automate the game.

    It’s comical to me you are so frightened of somehow bod scripters get some sort of advantage.

    Performance on Atlantic prime time last week was stellar, so I'm not sure about that one at all.

    Playability for hidden chests, well, I understand that.

    I agree with Amberwitch that there is not enough time to loot regular mobs.  However, I don't see this as much of an issue as I'm focused on kill lots of Umbrascale to gain event turn-in drops which auto-drop to your backpack thus no looting necessary..

    In order to at least loot some gold I have setup a macro:
    1) TARGET NEAREST OBJECT - which will be the corpse of whatever I just killed
    2) USE CURRENT TARGETED OBJECT - which opens the corpse

    This gives me about 1-2 seconds to right-click the gold on the corpse with my mouse.  I can grab the gold most of the time before the corpse goes "poof".
    Thalon, Merchant Sailor of Pacific for fine Tools, Clothing, and Potions!
    Blacksmithing, Carpentry and Inscription services offered through afilliated subcontractors.
    Exotic beasts available with proper authorization from the Crown.

    The bodies were covering chests on Atlantic.

    Need to move to an auto loot gold system.  The rich wont get richer, the poor can survive easier.

    And the devs would decrease the gold on Mobs.
