Why is pet training prepatch dragons disabled?
It says it can go 3 => 5, but the pet training button is no longer there.

    Because the Devs don't know how to keep them from being tagged as an exploit pet so they disabled training for now.  Or forever.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

    Until patch where they will revert to 4 slot the moment you attempt training on them making them in line with other dragons.

    Since patch 97 legacy dragons have always had issues. Their problem is their intensity (the amount of total stat/skill points they can obtain) is just too high compared to every other legit pet out there.  It was causing them to revert due to a training exploit fix that was put into place.  Once reverted the dragons were rather useless as they lost all stat training but reverted to 4 slot with very little useable training points left.

    Their apparent solution was to disable training on them and then patch it so they go to 4 slot with 1 full round of training like their wild counterparts instead.
