Old skills made useful wish list
Camping - comes with a box of sending. number of charges dependent on camping skill level. at gm it functions like a silver sapling seed allowing you (maybe and your party) to resurrect with your body nearby to loot.
Forensic Eval - Eval a generated body found in a dungeon or in the wild that activates a quest to hunt down and fight a peerless/champ spawn style boss with a chance at primers and maybe scrolls. Chance at successful quest activation increases with skill level. Have bosses and loot scale similar to t maps based on skill level.
Item Identification - Destroys an item with a Chance to learn a recipe to craft the item. Can use existing imbuing/peerless ingredients or new ingredients found with Forensic Eval. This would be for non generated artifacts and items that already have a recipe.
Taste Identification - Secondary skill for alchemy/cooking enhancing the effect or adding additional effects/benefits to potions and cooked foods.
Honestly, i just want my detective back lol, and more variety in builds would be nice. These seems like a fun way to do so while increasing content at the same time using underutilized parts of the game.
