Ultima Online nostalgic gameplay
With the holidays and vacation time I finally been able to give New Legacy some real playime and I've been enjoying it. It isn't quite what the original release was but it does fit the Second Age feeling when Trammel facets came into play. That was the first time I joined guild and was fairly active in the game.
Another active time for me was during the releases of Samurai Empire and Mondain's Legacy. Most of my guildmates converted to Sampire templates and I was left behind since I didn't upgrade until Mondain's Legacy, but we got lots of playtime in as everyone wanted to test their builds against the Champ Spawns. Special servers aren't really needed for "going back" to this era, since that content and character builds are still valid.
Siege has unrestricted PvP like the original servers, but the spell systems and locations are all modern UO, not New Legacy or the original code. Can anyone think of another era of Ultima Online that they would want to revisit?
