An overview of the ClassicUO Web Client at uo-cah.com

Hello. It seems like this was the week for a clear overview of some of the quality of life changes and new features of the ClassicUO Web Client. The features listed are just a smattering of what the client offers, but I think they're the ones that will speak to us (who have been holding on to the classic client) the most.

Thanks!  I Love the client in App mode. Nice write up/examples of the Features!
I see you also love making a template for each toon.

The 60 FPS gives me the illusion my guy is running slower.  But it is not, I run the same speed as others.

My health bars are smaller rectangles, I must have done something to not have the CC bars.

I can not figure out how to put a mastery on a Key.  I would like to select nearest target and hit it with Stagger.

How do you make the chat words at the left bottom of the screen larger?

As soon as you download this, run it in App mode!  They show you how at the bottom of the page.

I wish they would integrate these features into the classic client. Also, gridded containers.

    Exactly.

I don't know about the frame rate and adjustable screen size, but all the other things could be added to the CC.

Great client, but I miss the desktop version

Your overview did not list so many changes/upgrades, surely it should be possible for the UO devs to implement into desktop UO aswell.

The problem with what they could have put in the CC, The vocal complaints were about the frame rate and too small of a window on large HD monitors.  Now that we see they would allow us some cool things like auto open doors, one click looting, etc. We see that we like those things.

Grid containers are available in the WebCUO, as are the ability to search within them.

I've added those screen shots to the article.

For your health bars, you probably have 'Use custom healthbars gump' checked. Uncheck that to return the classic look.

You'd probably do this in two moves. One macro to select nearest target and then another macro to ready stagger, which can be bound under the spells tab:

I'm not sure what you are referring to here?

    @Jepeth ; Chat words:

They pretty small, I use chat quite a bit.

They want Ninja elves on LS because the Invasion is in Vesper right now.

Oh, at the moment I don't believe there is a text scaling option in the Web CUO (or regular CUO for that matter). Something to request on their discord for sure.

For PVM it's a good client.  For PVP it is lacking.  It's a beautiful client to be honest.
