I actually thought, New Legacy would be the place to enforce that, as it was starting from scratch, and would be the logical place to put their efforts.
If all the shards is too much resource, focus on the 1 new shard.
I was thinking about Europa.. i'd like to move all my toons from Legends there if BS can make it the first legit shard.

It may surprise you, Europa in general is quite a clean shard, apart from a minority.
Again, I would say to keep an eye on uo.com for all updates.
Thanks for soliciting input. I think the increase in community engagement leading up to the NL release has been a good thing. I hope that 2025 is a very good year for the game.
For 2025, I would be interested in seeing what the long-term roadmap for the game is, and I would hope it might include:
-A plan to address issues with, unify, or modernize the official clients. Authorizing the web client was a great step forward. Weirdly, the web client made me appreciate the EC's ease of use even more, which I never thought I'd be saying. I wonder what the team's plan for the clients is going forward?
-An allocation of resources not dedicated solely to seasonal events. It would be great to see a focused effort on fixing bugs or developing non-combat-oriented content. For example, how about the ability to sell your house design and buy one from others? How about more emotes? Compose your own music?
-Porting over of quality of life features from NL to the regular shards.
-Streamlining of the skills to either remove useless ones or make others viable to open up new ways to experience the game.
-Increased access to UO through other platforms like Steam and Mobile. Perhaps "pocket editions" that let you log on, check your vendors, search vendors, etc.
-Cloud-based macro settings and character profiles. Perhaps even an official "scripting" agent which allows the creation of complex actions that can be shared and rated by others.
-Updates to the forum to help with authorization issues.

Some of these things are beating a dead horse and are either technically infeasible or certainly could not be accomplished in a single year :P. Really, I'm interested in hearing where the team things UO will be in 2030, 2035, 2040, etc. and how they plan to keep such an historic game alive.
The WebCUO is genuinely nice, and plays well, the FPS and screensize are a fantastic way forward, and have been needed for a long time. I would like the Devs to tick, and allow some of the blocked out options in the interests of moving forwards. It is great they moved the dial a bit there, I would like it moved further.
I would like to see quality of life features, and customisable features built into the client - especially for pvpers. Tree foliage gets in the way, buildings get in the way. I actually think under the Options tab - a specific PVP option menu should be given, for pvpers who want to adjust their screen to play in a better way for them.
If the Devs would like more details, without me having to post here, I am happy to feed one thing at a time to them.
2. I would like to see some specific Mage content.
I would like a mage spellbook with offensive options on it.
HCI/SSI/Hit Lightning/Splinter or Sparks.
3. I think the Veteran rewards should be reviewed, and some pulled out, and placed ingame in various places statues to mob drops - some to BOD rewards etc. Again, happy to go through a list
It would if they would sell an illegal third party clients or scripts.. never seen a single legit CC user saying good stuff about high sea (just the navigation is..) but i've heard plenty of time how rewarding it was from trammies; usually followed by a pocket alt on the auto heal.

Personally I can drop 200 in a month on PoE.. but i cannot buy high sea.. I'd need better tools to consider this heresy on CC.

A new Xpac with a new map, new monsters, new content and quests new tamable pets with a tie into the origin of the Ultima storyline.
Guild halls and guild revamp with guild points earned by doing things together that you can buy cosmetics, items, and resources including a Guild BOD system (I.E go kill 10 dragons bring back scales fill the guild BOD and get rewards). Part of this restructure Order vs Chaos making point system for that placing a vendor at both locations 1 for order 1 for Chaos points spent on helpful consumables and guild war items (This simply to appease the pvp crowd) and to spark some fun Role playing guild wars like we used to have back in the day.
New skills would be nice too I was thinking something like a duel wielding barbarian type, or a summoner (Summoner can be super quest driven like spellweaving hard to get top summons can tie that into some high end game content).
And my pipe dream having a monthly event where pvp is turned off at the champ spawns just to see how many people show up to that on those special weekends and event weekends in general maybe double drop weekend or increase pet training weekends or double chance taming weekend, city invasion weekends that drop items for clean up points ect ect so many fun weekend ideas that can draw both vets and new players back to the game.
and if the current Dev team are incapable of ridding us of the cheats, then a complete set of new devs

There is simply NO acceptable excuse for the lack of action against cheating
- ADD a +skill tool PLEASE for carp/tink/bowcraft or something that allows lower failure repairs. They are only only 100 skillcap so repairing is extremely difficult, fail 3-4 times commonly, compared to blacksmith where you can get 120 skill or 180 repair contracts that NEVER fail.
ADD rental contracts for new commission vendors
- ADD auction safe show full name of winning character to owner of safe
CHANGE Idocs: items poof or in owners bank. Some system, perhaps they need to pay to recover them when they come back? - CHANGE idocs: house plots. Raffle or something, I don't know.
FIX VvV items: simple solution make them not usable in tram/no stats - FIX Pets path through people/other pets in tram.
- ADD gold/plat amount visible on character's status bar. I'd even accept the item insurance menu showing actual amounts instead of "1,000,000,000+". Seriously, just show the actual amount, what's the point of not?
FIX HP bars more smooth, instead of large % increments, make it every %, and add actual % either overhead or at end of name, ie: "A monster [55%]" FIX Jewelry box itself item count similar to bod books, not 1:1 (ie each piece in the box makes the box itself count as one more item) so you can move and pick up a full one. FIX Context menu trade only works if both chars are on same Z axis FIX Party bars mess up when a member relogs/adds new CHANGE Transfer timer- at least lower to 18h-20h ADD option to turn off animations (spells mostly) and spell particles ADD Filter for ctrl/shift object handles, monsters/objects/etc. ADD all standard functionality of uoassist added to cc/ec (if not already in ec) FIX Targetting system, filtering, make it better/overhaul ADD 'Toggle Item Insurance' macro for CC - FIX vendor search poor performance
- FIX city lag in invasions, an actual fix, not 'hey spread out'. We need better servers, or whatever is causing the issue, going forward so this isn't an issue in the future.
Again, most of these are general quality of life features that no one can disagree with, and they have been long standing. A few, like IDOC stuff, ok whatever I'm sure I'll get push back from the bot RMT sellers.(I play CC so these only apply to CC, but if it's broken in EC, fix it there too)

Fix VvV where I can't use the UOstore to hide at the inn and collect points while other people work the town.

Another EC bug that’s been around for years:
Approaching players will often appear naked and on an invisible mount. I found this to be problematic in Fel because I could not recognize murderers by sight as they came on screen.
The EC clearly doesn’t factor into the team’s long term plans, so I get that fixing issues with it might be a slog that gets in the way of other things. Now that the team has brought in the web client, it would be great if they could describe their long term posture towards the clients. My concern is that the UO population is an aging one. We don’t need the best graphics etc, but we do need an accessible, charmingly old school, streamlined experience that is available on as many platforms as possible (see OSRS). Would love to see attention paid to reducing the number of clicks for all actions, like what we see with some conveniences on NL.
