We the players had hoped that with a new legacy we might see new communication from the developers but still the same old team the fact that you can not address simple questions like transfer off at end of season and when will your one week stress test end is kinda ridiculous

They did the wipe and have been doing a stress test.  No one said NL would be live this week.

Straight answers would be nice. By not answering even the basic questions of release plans, I am keeping two accounts paid for in anticipation of this new release. If I knew the release was planed in July 2025 I would close them both now, but by draging out and stretching plans as long as possible I just keep paying month to month hoping for some concrete information. Call me later, while I keep paying the tab to stay on the line, does nothing towards building any type of loyalty, well, nothing good anyway.

Communication.   I'm sure it's not satisfactory to some.  Cry in your pillow.  I don't need to hear it.

I don't think anyone buying your asking for communication bad argument anymore

To be honest, I am disappointed with the BETA conclusion news.  There are plenty of websites where players have been following New Legacy for years.  All of them have been asking when this new shard will be released.  With the conclusion of the week stress test message, why nothing like stay tune for released date?

This is the time to get people excited about playing.  Why nothing like get ready to forge your legacy, soon to be released?

I don't know what to think.

Actually after giving it more thought, the DEVs team probably told someone to thank all for the feed back and acknowledge the end of stress test week.

I expect they are working on the release notice/update this week.  I came to the uo.com site when open beta was announced just to check it out and give feedback.  We should give them time to process this past week and make any final additions or charges.

This is good, shows many are anxious to begin their legacy.

Yup.   Next stage is release.  It will be here when it is ready.  The stress test ended yesterday.  UO has been around 27+ years.  Patience.

No idea how NL been doing.. but imagine if they would to release NL without their CUO client.
Imagine how wrong it would be to have no ambition for your new baby project..

If you like NL and UO.. u want WAY MORE players to come test and play it.. the MINIMUM expected from BS by those players would be to do at least, as good as illegal free shard.
They NEED that client for their NL it's not even a question..

If they crumble under the pressure and does release it without.. It would have been like releasing EJ without a free SA nor bankbox.. (wich they did.. at least for the bank box  :D)

@paiwan no EJ; no free SA.. no NL; no CUO fork!
So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

NL is so simplistic, you only need like 4 to 6 macros.  I played just fine with CC.  I'll play the same with the Classic UO client they modify for UO and NL.

Players who have multiple bard skills are the only class that complained about the client not being friendly with that specific skill set.

Yes, they are going to put NL out after the new client.  But, not because it is needed to play with.

Small bro is playing on EC.. I personally do not mind the smaller screen and 30 FPS CC.., not a good look compared to the illegal servers tho.

I knew NL was simplistic this is part of it's theme park flavor!

I still maintained CC wouldn't have that upg nor we wouldn't have CUO without NL.

I have not replied to the new client threads. I was under the assumption that the new CC would replace the current CC and just update when we open it.

They said NL live after the new client.  They could change their mind tho.

CC has a large enough screen for me to run out of room for other gumps/menus.

It's too large of a window for my 17" laptop.  Almost covers the whole screen.   I like the map and other stuff on my screen.

I do want to thank the community manager for the news.  We have been told to sign up for the news letter many times.  Asking on the message board wasn't the way to get answers.  The news letter is the way to go.

Lots of good things are coming to Ultima Online, and we thank you all for your work.  Maybe you can see a few of us were simply overly excited.  Like kids asking when Santa is coming.

    Thank you.

Imagine if Santa was bringing gift instead of a shameful display CC.. most of players I know that actually had an interest in NL (old players that stop UO for multiple reason, btw non of them is because trammel "killed" felluca) will use the CC and have played on illegal shard.

You guys should have waited for a more giving santa, before releasing.. plus the timing is horrible; T&L just released.. Knowing seasonal stuff are shinning at the beginning.
Very bad PR and marketing move, imo.
